Totally worth it! Few places have that neighborhoody feeling, good quality food and delicious flavor as B&C not only in Chevy Chase but also in all their other locations I’ve tried. Highl quality bakery too. Great spot to work from ?
Front desk young man needs customer service training (he had glasses). He was a little rude to our group, we were just visiting the area. The manager was great though good manners.
Great Bakery and Cafe. Family friendly. It has tons of items in the menu like Avocado Toast and Big breakfast. Portions are Big. Nice environment.
Our favorite NW DC neighborhood, sidewalk cafe for daily breakfast, weekend brunch, or an afternoon coffee/pastry. Excellent fare and superb service.

This establishment has some great tastes to choose from. I recently tried the Sandwich Du Matin and it was very delicious. I really appreciated the fact that the croissant was even sliced and that the sandwich was assembled very neatly. The taste was phenomenal. I also tried the banana nut tea cake and it too is recommendable.I would rate five stars, but it was very busy and I had to wait to receive my order that was completed online. The order was ready, but there were only a few workers during a busy time and I had to patiently wait for it to be given to me. Do not let this deter your visit, just be mindful that they are popular and it will be full of patrons. I highly recommend B & C.
The ham croissant is really, light, nice and fluffy. They a little pricey for me though, but overall it's okay. Shoutout to the French speaking African guy that rang us up. Thanks!!
I received several cakes from this lovely place over many years, and decided to try it. I'm very glad we did! Our party of 3 really enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine & Salad, Ham & Gruyere Crepes and Eggs Benedict. All were delicious! Service was fast and professional & coffee and tea were promptly refilled. My husband said, "we're coming back!" The desserts are beautiful and simply delicious, and we bought some to go. A wonderful pre-Christmas brunch. Don't miss Bread & Chocolate. (P.S. very comfortable chairs and delightful atmosphere, too).
This place is a whole good vibes with class. I saw that they serve fine wines and beer but chose not to indulge(having brought my kid with me and all Lol). The desserts are unbelievably delicious. I had their Tiramisu which was too rich for my taste in one day I saved the other half for the next and it was just perfect. My kid enjoyed his hot chocolate and my Americano cappuccino was pleasant. We also got some cookies to go with a brownie and they were also fine.
The eclair and the strawberry cheesecak are tasty. It's not too sweet. The dinning area is nice and cozy. The staff is nice.
