Fun place to hang out with your lady to get a drink and to play a game
Visiting from out of town. I wish we had something like this back home. Very cool.
Went here right after going to a sushi bar, and boy did it scratch the right itch for game night lol. I wasnt told about this place, as bringing me there was a surprise, but the miniature golf, the drinks, and the company were all wonderful. Great staff there too!
great selection of games, decent drinks but it kind of smells weird in there
So much fun to grab a few friends and shake off the workday here. Their happy hour deals are insanely good, especially for DC. $4 rail drinks & $4 drafts. Games are free to rent during happy hour, too! Loved the bartender.
Margarita pizza was disgusting. Came out lukewarm (barely that). No taste and just a real disappointment. Do not order. Atmosphere is nice and they have a large selection of board games
This was such a great find! My girlfriend and I were walking around DuPont Circle and stepped in to Board Room. There are two floors inside with ample seating. They don't serve food, but they have a discount with the pizza company nearby or you can bring in food from outside. There were a bunch of games to choose from, covering all genres, amount of players, and skill level. The bar also seemed well stocked, and the bartender on duty seemed nice.I'd definitely go again.
The adult hot cocoa we had was delicious and amazing! Some games to choose from. Pizza place next door was good! Very big pizzas.
I just cannot give this place a lower rating. As though the general quality of the venue were not abysmal enough, the staff is also remarkably rude.I have this appalling original sin to confess, i.e. that I'm not a connaisseur of beers. That is why I dared to ask the bartender what type of beer was the Shiner Bock.He gave me an absolutely stern look, before blurting out: "It's a Bock".My question should have been self-explanatory enough, yet he completely unnecessarily dwelled on it, claiming that "of course that is why I'm giving you a taste, because nothing I would say about it [what a Bock is] would matter".If you can believe it.Such an episode sets quite an exceptionally low bar, by any service standard you may accept.Perhaps the gentleman was blissfully unaware of the fact that there is a reason why bartenders are expected to be more knowledgeable than their customers regarding the products they sell - and why the latter ask the former for recommendations.Do yourself a favor and beat other paths.
Good drinks, awesome courteous staff! Go play, drink, and have fun!
