Dined here during lunchtime and it was buzzing. Seated at counter and ordered Chicken Tikka Massala ($16) served in a bowl over curried rice. ? ? It was delicious especially with the extra green chillies. Quick service and friendliest staff.Loved it so much we returned for dinner the following evening. Enjoyed the lamb wrap and Naan garlic bread and again Chicken Tikka Massala. 2nd night the staff was distracted by the owners presence so we didn't have the sMs great service.Still giving 5 stars for consistent delicious food and nice energy/ ambience.

This was a last minute decision when our dinner destination turned out to be closed. Turned out excellently because the food was delicious. We split a chili cheese naan to start which was fresh and steamy with just the right amount of heat. For entrees, I got a Lamb Kathi Roll that came with fantastic cilantro chutney and a little cucumber salad. My husband got a fried chicken sandwich with spicy fries that were classic medium cut and perfectly cooked. We each tried a house made soda which were interesting and very unique flavors - the citrus saffron was a little too sweet for his taste and the spicy green grew on me. We could easily taste the components of each, they were clearly fresh quality ingredients. Portions were good - not huge but satisfying and reasonably priced. Lots of other delicious looking items I wanted to try, would definitely go back.

Excellent Indian restaurant. Great service. Very eclectic menu. Dishes well prepared. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend it.

The restaurant is clean, comfortable and well decorated in an easy to find location. The menu is simple and geared for eat-in and take-out. The food, we had Shashliks and Nan, was well cooked and tasty, if a little on the mild side, but not piping hot apart from the bread. Good choice of beers and wines, we had Pale Ales. The service was less than average, I’m afraid to say. The waiter we spoke to initially motioned for us to follow him to the Maitre D’s desk without a word, here a young man who gave the impression he had no idea what he was doing failed to look us in the eye while fumbling with paper, pen and computer screen. When we were finally seated we were brought water immediately and then set upon by a scruffy looking waiter who having little product knowledge made some up telling us that the best beer is saved for bottling while the sun-standard left-overs are used for kegs… Placing an order for drinks appeared to infer that we would be simultaneously ready to order food even though the menus had only just been delivered; we asked for two minutes grace and were given ten. Our simple order seemed too basic to hold the waiter’s interest and he disappeared until mid-way through eating when he arrived to deliver a perfunctory “everything ok?” and left before most of the reply had been made. He returned in time to ask if we’d like desserts, we said we were fine and we’re given a bill rather than offered a coffee or another drink or even a recommendation of some tempting sweet treat. Paid and left. Underwhelmed Probably wouldn’t return.

Great place for Indian snacks. This is not a full fledge proper restaurant- more like a fusion. Food was tasty, ordered pav bhaji, masala chai, samosa(could be bigger in size), naan and curry and mango rasmalai - everything tasted great. Do check the menu before to set your expectation right.

I went with high expectations as per reviews and feedback from folks who had been there and were ravishing about the chaats available at this cool place. The only reason it carries a single star is because of the interior - very nicely done. The service was really poor with an unbelievable wait for golgappas that made me wonder if the Chef had personally driven over to the nearby Indian grocery store to pick up some raw materials! The state of the bathrooms (yes, even the ladies) was horrible with paper towel strewn all over. Later I followed up with someone who confirmed they had encountered the same on their prior visit. With such a pricey menu for a substandard taste (compared to local Indian offerings in DC and Northern Virginia), I wonder why they can't invest in a janitorial service for cleaning up the restroom. The floors were littered with food and I had to request them to clean it up. The avacado golgappas were spicy even at mild and didn't help us experience the taste of avacados in them just being overpowered by the spices. The dahi batata puri was tasteless on the other hand while the pav Bhaji tasted like uncooked masalas added in a hurry. I thought I might be too critical in calling the masala chai as watery, but it became clear that the whole place was just a marketing gimmick when my 7 year old expert mango lassi taster (starting at 6 months of age when he first tasted this dish in any Indian restaurant and has always ordered one everywhere available) said this was not even worth taking home.I will add appetizing pictures to assure you that the presentation is very appealing, but then it definitely brings the proverbial saying on being deceived by the eyes to life. Avoid.

I have to admit I am a novice when it comes to ordering Indian food - also because I can not tolerate spicy foods. However, I am an expert on being high maintenance and enjoying good service and quality food. Cute place that feels like a cafe. Service was excellent. We ordered an array of dishes (samosas, lamb curry, mushroom uttapam…can’t remember them all) and none disappointed. My absolute favorite was the dal makhani (lentils) over rice or with the naan. Will definitely be back to try, again.

Sat at the bar and had an amazing meal. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was flavorful and satisfying. It was a cold night and the chai was great! Highly recommended Indian food!

Great food, excellent ambience. I first visited this place in 2018 and now again in March 2022. Now they have outdoor seating as well. Food is of top quality like last time. Staff is very professional and courteous. We ordered salmon tikka and chicken tikka masala. Both were served with rice and portion size was right. Apart from that their naan is also soft and fresh. Do try when in Washington DC.

The galpogos was the only tasty chaat! The bhel puri was disappointing and even the gobi pakoras were salty too! However, the staff were friendly and efficient. The meal didn’t wow us but it was ok.
