Great menu, service, beers, and food! Very friendly staff that did a great job recommending items and made people feel welcome. The pretzels and wings were good too.. would come back.
This place was awesome! There is plenty of seating (we sat on the rooftop). They have a great beer selection & the food was great. We especially loved the shandys.
Raspberry lemonade and passion fruit sprite.I got a bauernwurst, bratwurst and knackwurst sausage platter served with sauerkraut, potato pancake and bacon/sweet chili brussel sprouts. My husband got the jägerschnitzel. Everything was absolutely amazing, especially the live music! We even requested a few songs. The starter platters, the spinach artichoke dip and tex mex egg rolls, we're so delicious. The entrees were even better. I will definitely return to this place and 100% recommend to everyone.
Disappointed about all the hype. Ordered a Lemon Shandy aka "Berliner Weisse" and it came with ice cubes. Never had beer with ice cubes so that was a new one going to a Bier Garten. Food was OK but surprisingly filling. Sadly the service was lacking; had ordered the Reuben Sandwich and asked for spicy additions. Wasn't offered the 75 cent jalapeno option that comes with burgers sadly. Drinks were never refilled and the bill never arrived when asked. Sadly the rooftop terrace was also closed. Maybe better service next time around?
I've been going to the Biergarten Haus for many years for good reason. It consistently delivers a good experience. It has a mix of beers you don't typically see and they sell them by the liter. Good vibes too, gets a bit loud inside but there is plenty of outdoor seating.
This place has gone downhill since they changed management. Only about half of the menu is German (food and beer). When I asked to substitute a side on a dish, I was told by the manager that I could not because it would take 10 minutes for their kitchen to do so. I'm not sure what kind of kitchen setup they have where sides aren't already ready to go to add to a plate, but ten minutes is ridiculous, and it made me feel like the manager was lying to me. The ambiance is still good, but given that they've removed most of the biergarten items including a lot of the classic German sides, I would be hard pressed to return. I left feeling like I overpaid for the hope that this place would still be great.
Great place to have a beer and brats with buddies! Just a simple brew hall but were beer and brats intended to be complicated?
Good reliable beer and food. Most authentic and best feeling biergarten in the city. Always friendly staff and a host venue in the past for Deaf Trivia
I'm the only one here, sat down and waited 15 minutes while the bar tender and i just kept looking at each other. Finally had to go up to the bar to get a drink. To the owners, if you want to know why I was the only one here on a Wednesday evening... might want to evaluate your staff.
What a fantastic place for date night. They have Giant steins of kolsch and authentic schnitzel. I was so so happy. I definitely recommend this to everyone.Great atmosphere, warm fire on the inside if you need, and it only gets better, especially later in the evening.
