Solid/standard ramen spot, they had some rice bowl options for lunch as well. Didn’t give it 5 stars because the ramen portion was on the small side. Loved sitting outside on a sunny day!
Ramen taste like instant not even hot. When we got our bill they charge the the half aji-tama $2 but in the menu it was $1 only. I asked the server she said she will bring the menu but i took a photo of it and showed to her the price printed. She spoke to the manager and said “oh, that is what our system is showing”. I did not argue but never ? again. Not worth the price.
Good selection of ramen choices. They are willing to accommodate request for toppings. Shrimp Tempura was okay, not as tender as I like. A good place to eat for a warm bowl of ramen.
Let me caveat this review by saying I initially went for the sushi but didn't get any because I couldn't find it on the online menu. I did not try the ramen. The food I did have was awful, very bland and just off the mark. Maybe they were having a bad night. The service was good though regarding my interactions when picking up the food.
Amazing customer service and good food. Would recommend Signature Bowl and the Old ball game. Definitely gonna come back!
Stopped in here twice when I was visiting after realizing this ramen was an option in the area. It's conveniently down the street from the stadium and right outside the Metro. They have a bar and decent seating. Enjoyed the bao dumplings and signature bowl ramen. My only mistake was ordering the Narutotai sake without asking how much it cost or realizing how much was in there.
Good in general. Servers are pretty nice! Ramen noodles and the Unagi bento box are good but a fan of the tuna nachos.
A decent reminder of Asian flavors with a bar! They don’t know what fish sauce is or how to use it, and there are plenty of good choices here. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, and it is close to Nationals park.
The ramen and sushi I had was decent. It definitely wasn't the best ramen I've had, but it's worth a try. Most imoortantly, the customer service was excellent!
Before going to an event at Nats Park, my family of three stopped into Basebowl, a fast-casual Asian restaurant literally next door to the stadium. Here's our experience:1) Food: Their menu offers a wide range of options from ramen to bento boxes to dumplings. My wife and four-year-old daughter split the teriyaki chicken rice bento box (it comes with soup and a salad). They found it tasty. I ordered the Strike Out ramen bowl (green curry ramen with fried chicken on the side). I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as flavorful or filling as H Street NE's Toki Underground fried chicken ramen bowl.2) Service: It's impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly and rushed everything since she knew we were on a time crunch. Top notch service!3) Space: It's a fast-casual joint, but they make good use of the space. There's bar seating and tables inside. Outside there's a sidewalk patio with heated huts during the winter. If you're in the area and need heated outdoor seating, consider Basebowl.
