We wanted Thai and this was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to give it a go. The dumpling assortment was tasty but we were underwhelmed by our entrees. The Chicken Basil Kapow lacked any kind of sauce and was very rice heavy. The Crying Tiger Steak was under seasoned and sized more like an appetizer than an entree. DC has a lot of restaurants to choose from. I have had much tastier (and cheaper) Thai throughout the region so can only imagine that Bangkok Joe’s prime location is what keeps it going.

This is a really great location. It is located one block off of the Potomac and has a very nice outdoor seating area. Great people watching. Our server, Mishee, was very pleasant and thoughtful. Not the best Pho that i have ever had but it was certainly edible. My wife said that her bamee wonton soup was delicious. A very pleasant experience.

Excited to see Bangkok Joe’s back(few years ago was fusions with French mama rouj). We had taryaki salmon with lo main noodles and chicken(not halal) basil for my husband to go. Food is always fresh and flavorful. I was too hungry I forgot to take the pic of my salmon but got the chicken

Yum! Great staff and just the most delish food! A must while on DC.??

Food is really flavorful and authentic, lunch prices are extremely reasonable (Everything is around $10) and portions are great. Highly recommend. Ambiance is great as well.Best dumplings and mango sticky rice I’ve ever had!!

The place is beautiful and the food delicious. They have an affordable lunch menu starting at 10.99 including one entry. I had brought my family from Texas to this restaurant and they were happy including the kids. I left some photos of the menu for you to see. The food was delicious that I forget to leave you photos of the food that we eat. I recommend also the desserts the kids were happy with that.

Very nice place. We were visiting Washington DC for a week and decided to have our New Year’s Eve dinner there. The service was really good; very accommodating and polite. The food was excellent. We liked the place. I recommend it!!!

Personally, I LOVE this place. The chicken Pad Thai might be the best I've ever had. Also reasonably priced. Hidden gem in Georgetown.

The location is fantastic at GeorgeTown. Easy access and parking is very close. The food was delicious. However the service was slow. If you order draft beer, that usually should come within minutes but it took us 20min and a reminder to get the beer! Perhaps the weekend rush? But I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again. The entire area is worth a visit!
