Bagels, hot sandwiches, and coffee are all great. I’ve Never seen it with less than a dozen people in line — but they FLY behind the counter getting orders together. Major respect for their behind-the-counter flow.Extremely efficient operation for how broad their menu selection is. Customer service is pleasant, orders are always correct (and still hot), prices are very reasonable.I’m sympathetic to their cash-only policy, but I’d probably go more often if they did start taking cards, since it’s the only place I frequent that’s cash-only. There’s an ATM inside, though, for convenience!
My favorite bagel place in the city. The family who owns it has been there for what seems like forever. No matter what time you go there are always folks either in line or enjoying a bagel in the few spots outside. Be patient with ordering: everything is done old school style with a sticky note and old register. Worth getting the cash out for (it's cash only).
I’d been craving a bagel for a couple days so I stopped in to grab one. I wasn’t too sure where I was supposed to place my order but one of the ladies behind the counter asked me what I wanted after a few minutes if me standing around looking lost. My bagel came out pretty fast. I wish I had asked for it to be toasted but it had a great texture and a good amount of cream cheese and capers. If you don’t have cash there is an atm inside the store.
I was in the area and really wanted a bagel so I stopped here for a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese. I also had a chai coffee. Total was $15 I thought it was a bit overpriced. Also parking is almost impossible outside and I got a $100 citation. Be careful and pay attention tot he signs. The food was great the coffee not that good. Customer service was excellent.
Probably the perfect bagel. The right chewy-ness inside, baked outside. Very similar to a NYC style. Absolutely delicious, made for the perfect sandwich. The sesame has wonderful flavor. My absolute favorite breakfast or lunch spot. And the staff is so lovely and friendly.
Really tasty bagels at great prices. They have a big selection of bagel sandwiches and they are delicious. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place

Best bagel I’ve EVER HAD! I thought Chesapeake Bagel was my favorite place…not anymore. Bagels etc have the freshest, gooey & fluffy bagels with lots of seasoning on the everything bagels. The staff isn’t warm and fuzzy but it’s fine because I want to go back for more I’d rate it a 10/10 :) also cash only but there’s an ATM inside.
