I like the salads they have over there as well as the pastrties.
The blueberry muffins are my favorite. Also like the hearty stews in wintertime

Good food, at relatively low prices for the area. Chicken noodle soup and warm sandwiches are good, so are the pastries. Surprisingly, the latte was as good as those in some the bigger specialized coffee chains, but about half the price! Good seating and clean, with friendly staff.

One of only four Au Bon Pains left in DC. If you enjoy their pastries, it might be a good idea to stock up before all the cafes are closed. The croissants freeze well. Sad to see another favorite on its way out.
