Dined here multiple times. it has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a neighborhood spot. The service is consistently warm and professional. The food keeps you coming back for more!

A really well kept secret in DC! The food is really good and priced really fairly. I would give 5 stars but service could be better. That said they are really friendly. Save room for the churros!

I was very excited to try this place. I was unable to view the menu . The waiter was very nice. However the bartender came out and said maybe my phone was not very good. I país for my beer and left. Sorry seemed nice until I encountered him

Nice addition to the dining scene in upper 14th Street area. Good, though not too broad selection of dishes. Everything we tried was well done, delicious, with decent sized portions ideal for sharing. Highlights include the scallops with ink rice, garlic shrimp with crusty bread, sausage sandwich, churros!!!!! All delicious.

Great spot for Spanish inspired tapas. The quinoa salad and fingerling potatoes were great options to try

Diverse menu, but grilled cauliflower, scallops on black rice, and hibiscus margarita were excellent.

Not only our neighborhood favorite, but probably the best Spanish food we’ve eaten, period. Better paella than any we had in Spain. Everything else on the menu is great too. Best kept secret in DC.

Fresh flavors bold beautiful memories of Spain quick service . If you love Spanish Flavors I am sure you will enjoy the meals

WOW! What a sleeper this place is!!! We came here with family who was familiar with the chef/owner and knew this place had to be amazing based on where he was previous to making this restaurant. He wasn’t joking… the service was great, the food was outstanding!! For tapas this is one amazing joint, better than the “popular” place in DC owned by the very popular chef. The place is very clean and service was excellent! Prices are GREAT, this is another area that makes Atxondo better than the other tapas place, it’s more affordable with larger portions here. We tried several (actually “many”) items from their menu and each was outstanding!! I highly recommend giving Atxondo a try!!

Awesome Spanish style tapas and sangria. Try the cremini mushrooms with poached egg and the crispy fingerling potatoes. Most recently, we tried the seafood paella which took approximately 30 minutes for them to prepare and was delicious. Outdoor seating area is loosely tented with ample heaters.
