This place is great. The portion size was good. However the flavors were top notch. I had ordered the mini arepa trios and wasn't disappointed. The desert was also fantastic. This had anise, so if you're not a favor of licorice, you might not enjoy it. All in all I had a great time and the food was so good, I'll be back.
They did not greet upon entry or acknowledge at the register. When I told them I had a online order they just grabbed it and handed it to me with no Thank You or any response at that.

The lady just told me the reader is not working. Bye. I was not expecting food for free I was just waiting for a second option to get my food but she ignored me and kept doing uber orders. Btw they lost lot of clients because not card were accepted only cash.

Great spot adored by locals. This spot was targeted by groups of nazis from West Virginia who left unfair 1 star reviews for asking them to wear masks. This location has been a staple in the community for years and is adored by residents of DC. Great food, great staff, and convenient location just south of Thomas Circle. Great place to go to cure your hangover too! ;)
I love Arepazone especially when I am feeling homesick and need some Hispanic food. Arepazone is a gem in the city with phenomenal food authentic to its Venezuelan cuisine. Make sure you try the tequeños!
Not only is the food terrific, but the staff always make you feel special and that they care about helping you. Great local restaurant.
I love them! Their food tastes authentic and is ready quickly. Staff is always very friendly. It reminds me of food I’d eat back home.
