I love this place! First time trying it today and it’s one of the best Poke bowls I’ve ever had

food was good. the ladies working there were super nice, friendly, helpful, and quick!

Wow! What a great place! Our group ordered the Crunch and the Volcano, in which everyone loved their dishes! The customer service was fantastic!

Found this so it on my way back from a business trip today. The two ladies working were upbeat and helped me create my perfect poke . Highly recommend if your looking for some healthy food and tasty options

Not legit Hawaiian style food. Portions are really small, and it’s fairly pricy. It’s $9.50 for a bowl barely bigger than a fruit cup. Rice is like one big lump that you have to chop apart with your fork or chopsticks. Definitely will not waste my money on this again.

I was excited to see a poke place at Union Station when i got there and made a beeline for it for lunch. I was really looking forward to having some fresh poke but I may have put too much pressure on a place that is in a foodcourt. I am used to nice sized chunks of sushi grade fish. This was more like diced fish. Even the shrimp was somewhat "chopped". It was more like a place that did sides and bases and a little bit of poke on top. All that being said, it was still a good, fresh meal and better than the choices around it for a lunch. I had a base of all mixed greens and had the crunchy "package" of sauces and sides with tuna and shrimp. I really had a meal of greens, edamame, sauce and then some fish and shrimp. It may be a bit unfair to compare to what I am used to, but it just wasn't amazing.

Good service, fresh food. The menu is not clearly marked what is ans is not vegetarian. I almost never accidentally order myself meat, despite trying many restaurants. But here to my surprise I opened my food up to discover fish roe on top! Part of that is on me, but part of it was on the lack of clear labels.

Rice not good, salmon not fresh enough. Much worse than other pokes I’ve had

There is an Aloha Poke at my university, and my friends and I get it everyday! We love that there is a healthy option while still being tasty. And the service is the best! WE LOVE ALOHA POKE!

I like Aloha Poke mostly because they're the only fast-paced poke joint in this part of DC (that I know of). The fish quality is fine, but in terms of flavor and options, they do fall short. This also might be a personal preference, but I find their sauces and some ingredients too sweet as opposed to savory. Their rice is less sushi-rice like and more grainy as well.I prefer poke bowls from Poki DC or even Sticky Rice on H Street. They have better seasonings and the ingredients seem to blend better together than Aloha Poke.I will keep Aloha Poke in my back pocket for when I desperately need a poke fix, but I'm also happy to go out of my way to get something better.
