The worst dirty place and Kichen ever in DC if you want to waste your money then order from them the rice is hard and the chicken is old they use chicken Thai to make shawarma of it which is insane no management they just running this place by Hispanic None experience workers doesn’t look Halal at all . If you say halal it means clean such waste of time and money you can see a little hair on top of your chicken not recommended to anyone ...
This was quite good. You can tell that the meat was marinated a day or two in advance. Basmati rice and the marinated chickpeas go together beautifully. I can't say enough how good the food is!
Ordered here because the rain, kept us from exploring any dine in options. This is a get it and go restaurant. Service was cool. However, I gave them a 3 star rating because they left the sauces out with my to go order. No salad dressing. But they were extremely nice. The food was good. Could have been better with the sauces, and salad dressing. The salmon was moist and flavorful. The chicken was sort of dry. But seasoned. The rice can’t go wrong with balsamic rice. It’s important to get them sauces it kinda make the meal. Also the salad dressing. The location of this restaurant is sort of on the corner of the street. No parking. Just street parking. It’s not a sit down spot so get it and go. The food would have been a 5 star! Sodas are 2.00. And water is 1.00.
It was ok if you dont have a better choice. What they serve is different than the pic they have. Gyro with no hummus? And one cherry tomato in the wrap? And too much sauce. Lettuce was getting darker probably stayed out too long.
Almost turned away. I'd been at this place many a time at night and ate great pizza but now I wanted a kebob. The service was attentive to explain the menu amid the non-stop reggaeton. Ordered the spicy (tandoori style) chicken platter. Absolutely amazing!! Great chicken with fluffy persian rice, salad, chickpeas and fresh bread plus green mint sauce and white sauce. Delicious!Unfortunately, to go only.
Food and sweets are very good. Only problems are their manners. Please don't provide food in disposable containers, provide food in restaurant standard containers. And The guy, Babu should change his behavior as he should not force anyone to buy their items. Customers should choose what to buy and eat. He should also be honest about billing their items- he charged me more than what it is. As a Bangladeshi I am very disappointed by the behavior of another Bangladeshi.And please stop selling Vendi Fry at $10! That is stealing money from customers!
Best place in town for kabobs! Tried their combo 3 and was very pleased. The bread is so warm and soft and most restaurants have very hard bread which I’m not a fan of at all. They do not skimp on the rice and chick peas either everything is just perfect!
The food was great. Especially for DC these days. Not overly salty. TAKE OUT OUT STAND UPBut overall my experience was poor. There's one person that speaks English that can take orders but that's not the person that was taking the order so it took a very long time eventually I got exactly what I was looking for not a major complaint.There's only one table and chairs there so get ready for takeout. I'm very visibly pregnant and it was only one person in the store who seemed to have worked there I don't know if he was the owner or what but he seemed to be wanting to cut up cheesecake for boxing it and kept staring at me And didn't sacrifice his table even though he had an initiated any task at all. I know that my complaint is very personalized but my back was hurting My feet were hurting and I really had to feed myself standing well this guy in his stomach and boxes took up the one table. He was going behind the counter so I was just surprised it seemed like he either worked there.
I got the ground beef kabobs with some green sauce (has a nice kick to it) and the white sauce for the salad (yogurt mixed with herbs). This i was excellent. The meat is marinated a day-2days ahead of time and you can tell. The marinated chickpeas and basmati rice are a perfect compliment. Excellent food, I can’t recommend it enough!
Amazing food! Really fresh and tasty. They are open through the wee hours of the morning. so nice to find something with Halal options .The Alladin style pizza is fantastic. Definitely give it a try ?
