The restaurant was deserted except for a noisy large table, and two tables of 4 plus ours, which made the atmosphere less than pleasant. The menu was unchanged, which I always find creepy. Although Al Dente is convenient I will not recommend it.
My friends ordered pizzas which they really enjoyed. Needing to avoid gluten, my choices were limited but I too enjoyed my romaine salad with huge shrimp added. The high noise levels, inside and out, were a surprise but not impossible.
Good outdoor seating & great happy hour deals. Give it a try!
This was not what I was expecting and wouldnât plan to be back . If you enjoy flys , nats , dead bugs in the window , and dirty dishes . Then this is the restaurant for you !! Oh and do not plan on getting the Cacio e pepe , because they will be out . We were not not given a happy hour menu and had to ask for one . Also the servers are not aware of all the alcohols offered. I asked for the Mezcal on the rocks , the server was confused . I had to explain to her and show her on the menu . Still confused she went to ask someone and was able to get it . Service was slow and I had to flag down our waiter multiple times . Our server also decided she was going to wait to put part of the order in . She did later apologize for this , but still wished she would have asked first .
We always have a good time at Al Dente. The drinks are delish and the food is excellent. One of our favorite spots!
Everyone enjoyed
We love Al Dente. Always relaxing and delicious!
Two entrees were warm, not hot. Quality of those was mediocre. Quality of other entrees was good but not great. Nice outside table, good ambiance, great to be able to spend a long leisurely dinner in a nice atmosphere.
Pizza was tasty. Outdoor seating was nice, good atmosphere. Service was fast and pleasant.
The Old Fashioned cocktail was not good - too much maraschino cherry juice. Ruined it. Everything else was good.
