A great little spot you might miss if you weren't looking! The establishment was recommended by my college kid who has great taste buds, is a lover of trendy spots and can be a little frugal.Great brunch menu options... highlights included the peach bellini, steak and eggs, bottomless mimosas (for a great price!) And this breakfast sandwich!Sunday morning was busy, but the energy was amazing!

The ladies and I took to the streets of DC and happened upon @801dc. Located not too far from the Howard theatre and Howard University ??.The roof top bar was definitely a vibe but too crowded to fully dig in and enjoy our meals so we decided to sit on the second level. Let’s talk about the food - AAAAMMAZZINNGGG ??Pictured ??Kale salad w/ salmonAsparagus salad w/ salmonGrilled chicken Pura Vida BowlFood: 10/10Staff: 10/10 - Bartender played a birthday song for me & gifted us with free shots ?Bathroom: 5/10 - 2 singular bathrooms and 1 was out of order

Went for my girlfriends brunch with a group of 10. Was a perfect setting for a brunch and they also have a rooftop bar we were able to hang out at after.

So, first visit and I was not disappointed! We went during Sunday brunch, pretty lively crowd! It was refreshing to experience restaurant staff who worked so well as a team; not just our waiter checked on us throughout our meal, and they made sure we were well taken care of!!! My burger was very delicious, but the chicken sandwich wasn't so flavorful! Glad I visited! Stay safe!!! ✌?

We came for bottomless mimosas. But the food itself good have been better. But we got drunk so don't really remember. The presentation of things was nice and the experience was nice. But better places exist

I usually come here for brunch and not dinner or lunch but I decided to stop in this time. The food was standard but the Brussel sprouts were worth ordering again. I sat on the second floor at the bar and the bartender took care of me whenever I needed or wanted to order anything else. No complaints and if someone invited me I would come back again.

Brunch at 801 was good! The service was fast and everyone was polite. Since the building is on a corner, seating is fairly close. On the bright side, the food was delicious. From the french toast to the drinks, everything was spot on. The hash browns were a bit bland but there’s nothing that ketchup won’t do!Would definitely go back to try their dinner menu!

Great service. The food was also done the way I liked it. I am looking forward to visiting the rooftop in the Spring.

801 is a great place to hang out with friends and have a nice dinner on U street. The servers were pretty quick and helpful in choosing the right dishes!I ordered the Caribbean Chicken, which is a half oven-roasted chicken rubbed in jerk seasoning (Jamaican jerk spices), ? served with roasted potatoes & broccoli, ?? and an amazing chutney sauce. See picture!I really recommend it if you’re trying Jamaican food for the first time.

The Shrimp tostadas where excellent! So was the Happy Hour Mezcal Paloma
