The pizza at 2 Amy’s is quite good. I would say they have a lot of competition .The bad is the seating. I had to wait over 1hour and 15 min with 2 tweens . Not a great experience and to top it off the waiter was rude and did not want to hear my complaints. Terrible service. Not worth the hassle there are too many authentic Neapolitan pizza places. If they can improve the wait and train the staff better they would be all set. On top of it they have an indoor mask policy or vaccination. Hello DC does not require this. Also to charge a mandatory service charge when the service sucks. Not good.

Was told that we couldn’t be seated with a dog in the back, even though we had previously called about outdoor seating. They didn’t have anyone sitting out front but said we couldn’t sit there as they weren’t set up. Disappointing.

They were heavy on salt, sparse on the sauce, and the quality of the crust left something to be desired. The service and atmosphere was great, but in my experience, how the food looked did not match how it tasted. It was by no means gross, but there are better Neapolitan pizzerias in the area. Frankly, I’d choose Puppatella over 2 Amys.

A bit pricy for a pizza, bt fresh taste and great pizza bread (unlike your traditional pizza bread with spiced up dough). My favorite is the eggplant pizza with mozzarella and pine nuts.

Overrated unfortunately. I have been twice. First visit, service was poor, the second visit better—but expect a long wait and they don’t take reservations. Food is underwhelming and lacking in flavor and seasoning, although I’m sure the ingredient quality is good. Prepare to overpay for what you will receive.I respect that the tip is included. However, the owners (and some staff) seem to have a chip on their shoulder or are aloof about the place in general.

Not much in atmosphere, pizza was very good. Sausage tasted great. It's not a place to sit and enjoy the experience, it's busy and they want customers moving fast.

You'll find the most comforting Neapolitan pizza ? at 2 Amy's. This place is a must go, definitely a gem not to be missed in DC. It's pretty casual but it does get busy on the weekends. Overall, highly recommended!

No brainer 5 star review. Feels distinctly different from other DC restaurants. Great relaxed non pretentious vibe. Food is simple but perfect. Amazing ingredients and flavor. Go if you have not!

We've been going by Two Amys for a few years, but never once stopped in. Then we moved to WV. BUT, running a few errands, my wife and I decided to give the resto a try for lunch. We started with deviled eggs for sharing. Oh my! Absolutely delish, especially with the pesto (basil?) served with them. Next, bowing to my diet, I had peppers and anchovies swimming in olive oil. Kaching! Another winner! But the title goes to the pizza my wife ordered. Scrumptious. The Peroni on draft was a worthwhile accompaniment, or so I was told. The surprise came when we got the bill, noting NO TIPPING because the tip amount was included in the price. An absolutely marvelous place.

We had the polpettine al forno, etna, norcia, and pozzuoli. Everything was delicious. The Etna pizza tasted heavenly like a camp fire- such an amazing taste and experience!
