Absolutely amazing service. Everything we ate was excellent. The drinks were poppin. Brioche crusted Halibut and Duck were very tasty. Our group also had the short rib and beef tenderloin. Everything was great. Will come again.

1789 was a wonderful place to celebrate my momâs 60th birthday! We especially enjoyed the cocktails, leek and potato soup, and scallops.
This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for four decades. I found the wine list to accommodate the most discriminating kinda sure as well as one considering his budget. The sparkling rosé was excellent. The sole meunière was a absolutely delicious as was the bread . I will certainly go back just for the sole. My guest indicated that the lamb was good however he was underwhelmed at the flavor.
1789 has got even better since our last visit three years ago. High quality food and wine and reasonable prices.
Short ribs were as tough as belt leather. Everything else was fine. Excellent wine list.
