Service was friendly but Food was a ZERO. It’s a terrible quality deli with a boutique name and location. Fresh oven-roasted turkey was salt-less and tasteless. Awful. Spent $50 for two Sammie’s, two small sides and a cupcake. This is a shame! Go to a deli with real flavor - GOLDS. THE BEST!!
I hadn't been to Rye Ridge Westport for over two years. The last time they'd forgotten about my pick up order and I had to wait for almost 30 minutes. Thought I'd give them another try. Today, I called in an order and asked for pickles, which is standard. I got my sandwich and knish ($22+) but no pickles. When I arrived to pick up my order, the cashier was joking around with another guy behind the counter. ( I vividly recalled the same lack of attention, focus and respect on previous visits.) When I called them, they said "oh yeah." They are still lackadaisical about their orders and customers. At least they are consistent with their terrible service and management. I'm not going back.
A good deli too bad the service sucks! 5 people behind the counter and still wait 20 mins for an order that was called in 15 pmins before on a 30 min break all to have the order wrong! For a $15 sandwich at that! Don’t waste your lunch break!
Great spot for a quick brunch. We went on mothers day and the kids behaved which was a bonus. Food is tasty and generous, the deli looks good too
Great food, great service, reasonable prices, lots of free parking available out back with an entrance into the restaurant there.
After spending over $100 this is the knish I received an d also ordered 2 franks knish with side of pastrami..no pastrami Someone should be watching what’s being sent out. I bet you wouldn’t server this to a family member.Marianne D
Yikes. Went in on a Sunday morning when it was slow.Wanted to sit and be served inside. Was told my guy at counter to place order with him and then be seated. I ordered. I paid. I sat. I waited. 20 plus minutes later as waiter after waiter walked by, I got up and was told my food had been sitting there in a to go bag for “awhile”. She. I explained what happened, I was told that they have waiters and table service ice and it wasn’t their fault. I reiterated I was looking to dine in and got further attitude, and a $22 bill for eggs and coffee.
We wanted a salad with protein, and Rye Ridge hit the spot with their Caesar’s Salad with Chicken. As a takeout they set the chicken and dressing on the side, so everything was fresh. Portions were ample, so one was more than enough for both of us.
Sat for about 20 mins. No service. People working there just standing around talking. Completely ignored us. Know someone had same experience. Ended up walking out and went to a very fine restaurant in the area. Got great food and service at the other restaurant. Don't go to this deli!!!!
Waitress was weird, and is very over priced. It was 15 for a sandwich that wasn’t even good. Don’t come here, go to other places.
