I am fully convinced that any positive review were either by the owners, their friends, their families, or someone who works there. I have gone there three times. The first time was absolutely horrible. The second time was absolutely horrible. So the third time I decided to go with one of their dinners instead of pizza and literally the whole thing was burnt including the red sauce they didn’t even get the pasta with red sauce right that was horrible. It was so bad it’s almost shocking Because restaurants in Westport even the bad ones tend to have pretty high-quality food. And you can honestly get as good food from a gas station.And I’m not even going to begin to touch on how poor the service was

None of the three employees working the front of the store were wearing masks when I stopped in for a pizza today at 1:00 PM, despite the Westport public mask mandate. I left and won't return. The pizza is just OK and does not justify the unnecessary health risk. Julian's and Ignazio's are superior alternatives.
I haven't tried everything but solid pizza, wings, and calzones.
Tried Outpost pizza for the first time tonight. Had the Margarita Pizza and the Bianco Italiano. Both were very disappointing. While the ingredients were obviously fresh, everything was tasteless. The crust the cheese the sauce. It's a shame, because the staff seems so nice, and the place is so clean, but we won't be going back.June 10 Review Update:A couple weeks ago I called Outpost Pizza to respond to the owner's posted response to my original review. I spoke with a staffer and explained I wanted to have a good, positive discussion with the owner and explain the reasons for my original review. I left my name and phone number, hoping for a call. As of this writing, no callback from the owner.
Rude service, terrible management, and their pizza is mediocre at best. There are plenty of other pizzerias in the area that care about their customers.
Salad was big, full of chicken and fresh. Pizza was nicely browned and had a good sauce not too sweet but not too salty. I also like that joe has responded to some negative reviews directly. Running a small biz is hard work and reputation is everything! If you’re unhappy I like that he asks you to call the restaurant and let them make it right!
Never Disappointed when I come in, I live a few minutes down the road and should come morw often. Service is great even though there’s not many people. I always feel a nice warm welcome when I walk through the door. The food is pretty good. I highly recommend this place they have a lot of options too choose. GREAT PLACE !!!
My family likes the pizza but I find the payment process to be rather fishy. They claim the card processor company won’t give them a new machine so they physically take your card and input the card number manually and they can’t swipe the card either. After several encounters I asked if they offered Apple Pay and they could. They don’t normally offer it. Then on my bill I noticed a convenience fee. So if you use any rewards cards or if you use Apple Pay with the Apple Card, they make you pay a fee to recoup the rewards. No disclosure. Not customer friendly to add fees. Better choices in Westport.
The crust and hot oil are great. The margarita was just super!
