Gold's Delicatessen is the place you want to get your food from. Generous and always fresh. I consider Gold's Delicatessen to one of the best delis.
The matzo ball soup, brisket sandwich and coleslaw is delicious!
I'll drive 40 miles to get their matzoh ball soup or a knish..ive asked them to open a deli closer to where I live.

Just a solid place with food and service. Yes there is an eat-in waitress area, which I didn’t expect. It was nice to go in and order one of their many sandwiches and it was brought out fairly quickly. It’s obviously a local place with regular customers. The pastrami sandwich was just great!
Every time we visit family in Westport, we always get a Gold’s order. Corned Beef, Beef Tongue, Chicken Liver, Bagels, Cream Cheese, etc etc.It’s so good.Thanks for being so delicious ❤️

One of the best kept secrets in Connecticut! I've frequent here often, and I have never had anything bad here! From the beef franks, to the brisket, the corn beef, to the shrimp salad, the coleslaw to the knishes, the latke to the stuffed cabbage. Delicious! The soups are all made here, they even offer homemade chicken pot pie and shepherds pie, soooooo goooooood! The place can become very busy at times, please have some patience. The staff is friendly, helpful, and downright kind! Can it be pricey? Yes, in my book, it's worth every cent!
Wow!!!! This place is amazing!!!! Everything from the food to service is the best! Always fresh, top quality, and everything you want from a good delicatessen. Love that they have sandwiches to order, excellent cold cut and sides, as well as bakery goods and a great frozen food selection. Plus they have excellent finds you can only get at delicatessens like Dr Brown's, great kinishes, etc. I have tried other option in the area and nothing compares to Gold's.
Sesame bagel not toasted, lox and cream cheese, and onions. Perfect!
