What a great place. This was a meeting spot for a half way location to meet another couple.I searched and all the reviews were spot on.Had the bucatini carbonara which was more then enough to eat with great flavors.The Caesar salad was perfect, you can taste the fresh anchovies.The cheese cake was perfect.The staff was very attentive and the owners daughter was very friendly which makes for a great experience.Can’t wait to come back here.

This restaurant has been on our radar for at least two years now. We finally had an opportunity to try it and were pleasantly surprised. It's nice to live in an area of Connecticut where there aren't a lot of chain Italian restaurants. The family owned version always gets my loyalty. From the moment our party of four arrived to the moment we left, the service was attentive and timely. The menu offered a variety of soups, salads, appetizers and entrees. The highlights for the starters were the burrata appetizer and imperatore salad with a superb balsamic dressing. Everyone ordered a different entree and the stars were the Bucatini Carbonara and the sauteed chicken dish with hot cherry peppers. The dessert menu had many options and the tiramisu was the hit -- light and flavorful. Our thanks to Andre and Mary for an excellent meal. We will be back and will recommend this gem to others.

I'm a little bias since I'm friends with the owners, but we've brought quite a few friends here and they absolutely loved it. Everything is spot on, great service, never felt rushed and very accommodating. Thank you Andre and Mary for having a wonderful restaurant and your friendship!!
Not really sure if we were there on a bad night but our food was okay, nothing special. The service- OY VEY. It’s appropriate when a waitress checks in on you (which she did once and then we didn’t see her again) although we had someone in addition to our waitress who didn’t even introduce herself come over 7 times to ask us how we were doing within 1 hour. It became pestering. Overall, we were pretty disappointed and won’t return.

I have eaten here for years. Best Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Westport. Really good appetizers and entrees and espresso. Very nice owner. I feel really welcomed when I am here. Excellent service and a great outdoor seating area.
