Went for brunch on mother's day and they were out of multiple menu items, wait staff forgot or kitchen just never made our appetizer and it was left on the check, the food took awhile and came out sporadically, all the dishes we ordered with lobster tasted so dry, old, flavorless, like it was prepared days beforehand. The bread and rolls for the burgers and lobster rolls and sandwiches were so stale we couldn't even eat them.It was busy and they seemed to be understaffed so I can completely understand how certain things slipped through the cracks as far as food not being put in and drinks not being refreshed. The thing I can't get over and the reason I will never go back was the food. To not serve fresh food and at least semi fresh rolls, especially on a holiday that many people go to brunch/lunch and knowing you're going to be busy, that's just careless.After our meal, I went outside to look at the water with the kids because everything had taken so long and there was dryed throw up on a bunch of the railings. Perfect ending to the brunch.

The place is not really set up for live music and the ribs I had tasted off. Fun little place for drinking and talking. Why do people go out for live music and then try and talk while the music is playing??
Wow. What a terrible experience. Well below my expectations. First it took at least 15 minutes to get water. Not exaggerating. Clam chowder tasted like it came out of a can. The wings were bland. The chicken tenders came out soggy and cold with old fries. The burger was cooked ok, but just ok and served on a stale roll. In an effort to ease the pain I ordered a drink from the bar. Unfortunately that took another 20 minutes to arrive and I didn't even finish it. Worst 100 dollar lunch I've ever had. Bottom line won't go back there unless it's to eat appetizers and drink at the bar.
This was the only place that had openings for mothers day, and I'm not surprised. Stale bread, slow and inadequate service, things on our bill that never made it to our table. I have three stars because the wings and crab cakes were decent. Personally will not be going back.

Best burger in Fairfield County. Great service, fun atmosphere, beautiful view of the Saugatuck River. Only place I'll go between Fairfield and Greenwich.
Talk about hole in the walls. I believe you would call this a dive. Guy fieri did. But its got good food. The soda might be not name brand..but its got a full bar. If you're in the area or making a trip. Its worth taking a look. The lobster roll might be 24$ but dang if it isnt full of fresh meat and worth that price. Would recommend.
After all these years the place is still going strong. Awesome bartenders and amazing food!
