While I would have loved to actually stand in the deli and order, I'm 3000 miles away in WA State. Oldest daughter was visiting my sister in CT, and picked up a delicious capicola and swiss grinder to bring home to Daddy. Bless her heart, huh? I told her not to get any condiments/accompaniments on it, so it didn't turn to mush on her flight home. It made it in good shape, albeit flattened in her luggage, but I was able to put the fixin's I prefer when I got it. Spectacular. Capicola is not something we see too much out our way, so this was a definite salumi treat of the highest order for me. I did give a bite to my lovely Wifey, and that was a big mistake, because there went half my beautiful sandwich. Obviously, my photo does not do it justice. Man, I sure do miss delis like this. Nothing our way can touch them...
Hands down I'm voting for AS Fine Foods Westport for "Best Sandwich!" They have the best meatball parm sandwiches! From the texture of the roll (it's so fresh and soft) to the amazing flavor of the meatballs and sauce, it’s perfect! Plus, you can't beat the service!!

Great food but a couple of times the guys behind the counter have been rude to my fiancé and I. Today was the last time they will do that, I will not go back.
My absolute favorite place to get fresh-made food, it’s always great.They recently did a big order for a family event and our guests loved the food. They always take the best care of their customers and they also have a unique Italian market inside with some great finds.
This place is hands down the best quality and selection out there. Quick and extremely warm friendly service and great prices .10/10 delicious!
