One of the best places to eat in CT! Always fresh and perfectly cooked meals! Massive menu selection and incredibly friendly staff.
We've lived not far from this restaurant for over 20 years, and this was the first time we had visited. Hubby had the fettuccine with chicken and broccoli, I had the lasagne, both of us had the beef and vegetable soup as an appetizer. Everything was excellent!!
I been going here since forever never had a bad experience, until yesterday… I went to go eat with my son & nobody was in the front, until another family came in & the owner (I think) a lady blonde hair greeted them gave them menus sat them down & didn’t ask ME anything & then she just left to the back, I just walked back to my car and left. SMH

So gross. My eggs were so over cooked the “hash browns” where hardly even cooked just boiled with nooo flavor my husbands eggs where brown and then Raw on the inside I had two bits and had to get my waitress for the check I should have never paid for will never be back
The food was good, I had an omelet my fiancé had some type of sandwich with those yummy waffle fries. Yes I would go back again.
The only place left in West Haven to use a restroom. It's fair. Buy their amazing home made fresh flavorful not too sweet blueberry muffin toasted with butter. Makes me want to make a special trip for $2.45... Although restrooms are for customers only be real and don't be grimy and dont wreck it for the rest of us who need to use this valuable place.
This is what my brain pictures, when I think of eclectic American diner. Fast service with amazing food and staff. I would definitely recommend their strawberry milkshakes.

This place is forever special to me, not only for the good food but also because I went on my first date with my boyfriend here. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I'll be back soon!
