This was the first time we ordered from this place. My girlfriend was having a very difficult day and we couldn't decide where to eat. We opted to order here and were in no condition to eat at the restaurant.Explaining our situation on our order there was a written note with love from who we think are the orders. Hands down this was the best Mexican food I've had in CT! I am very excited to sit down and have a meal with a big smile on my face in the restaurant soon.

We were too hungry when we got there to take pictures. We started off with a coconut margarita and a mango special margarita. Delicious! Nachos for appetizer, so good! The nachos are filling for 2. My husband had one of the pork specials and I had the chimichanga's. Everything was so flavorful and authentic! The owner came over to our table and gave us a dessert on the house. Next time I will make sure I take pictures. Can't wait to go back!
Went last night cerabration friend's birthday all foods we had was so fresh and delicious plus good service we're enjoyed and had a great time;) highly recommend ??
Very upsetting customer service. Had a miscommunication with an order and was told basically that it was our fault and we had to pay for it. It truly was a miscommunication all around and to not take ANY RESPONSIBILITY for the error is poor business practice! And to top it off, all of the fuss was over an appetizer of nachos. We previously had been here many times, but after this incident we won't be coming back. Hope it was worth it La Catrina.
Absolutely amazing!!! I've been to La Catrina several times now, and the food and service has been outstanding every time. It's my go-to spot anytime I want great Mexican food with some delicious drinks!
Amazing!! Margarita Wednesday is nonetheless a great way to start off the weekend. I tried many flavors and oh man they were all amazing!! Absolutely love the place, the vibe, the attention.I will definitely be back & recommend more people! Drove an hour just to check this place out and its my favorite’
I am giving this 5 stars because of the following reasons: Staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate the menu items for picky people, the restaurant itself is clean and beautiful, and the food is delicious!! Probably some of the best Spanish food you can get in West Haven! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving great quality Spanish food!
First time coming here and I can say I will definitely be back!! Ordered the tostadas de camarones and absolutely loved them! I also had a margarita that was to die for! Loved their vibe and how authentic everything is from the murals on the walls to the food to the drinks! It’s a great addition to the west haven area! Will definitely be back and recommend this place to all my friends and damily
