Nice to have some NY style pizza in the area (for those who don’t know, Pepe’s and Harry’s are NOT NY style). This pizza is the the type you can take and walk and eat like in NYC because the crust is thin but thick enough that it holds the toppings on. Delicious crust and high quality cheese, sauce is awesome, this is by far the best I have had in the area.
Best pie in the area, most similar to what you get in NYC, this place knows how to make great pizza, no place in WH compares - cheese, sauce, crust it’s all great. Love, love, love this pizza!
Idk what I would do without Zephyr’s, the vegan pizza is AMAZING! It’s so hard to find vegan pizza with good flavor and really good cheese, but seriously Zephyr’s is it!! My husband is not vegan, he hates 95% of the vegan cheeses he tries, but he always has multiple slices of my vegan pie whenever we go here. Between the two of us we’ve probably tried most of the menu and everything has been super tasty and really enjoyable.The guys working here are also really nice and considerate, the place is cool, it’s a good spot with some nice tables outdoors. Great food + chill vibes = my favorite pizza place in the state. If you’re vegan you DEFINITELY need to check these guys out!!
Perfect location in west Hartford. Plenty of parking space. Pizza was very tasty. Think crust and light sauce. Price is very reasonable. I will be back for more.
Awesome pizza. Made with love. My slice had all the flavor needed with a crunchy, well balanced crust. Definitely gonna be back. Plus they do lots of cool collaborations and food events with other chefs throughout the area! Keep up the awesome work!
OMG! This pizza is amazing. We went here because they sell slices. We bought two pepperoni slices and it is the cup pepperoni (my favorite) .As we were leaving we saw fresh slices of cheese available and bought two. Well worth the visit.We hate a slice on our 2 hour ride home and even cold, it was amazing. They definitely give the dough the time it needs to rise.The guy working the counter was working hard, taking orders, cleaning tables, serving food. We will be back the next time we are in town!
Honestly one of the best pizza slices in Connecticut. We travel up to CT from Rhode Island to eat and this was amazing.
The “Meat Sweats” will live up to its name, so definitely bring an appetite for that one, the white mushroom pie was a banger too. Chill spot, simple menu, quality product, will definitely be back in again.
I placed an order for the Alighieri pizza and it was delivered via doordash.I will start with the decent parts. The ingredients seem to be good quality and the flavors I am tasting fit well together. They have a nice balance between salty, sweet,and spicy. Now for the tough part...the dough. For me the dough is like a thin, dry, hard cardboard. The dough is very light so they must have let the yeast do it's work properly but it is just too dry. I am not sure if this was due to some lag with the delivery process. I would give it another time fresh in the shop because this could be a result of the delivery time.
Heard about their pizzas a lot. Finally made a trip and loved their pizzas. Super yum, super good. Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. We ordered the Silly Cheesesteak and the Oregon Trail and both were delicious. We ordered over phone and they said it will take 25Mins, however it took 40 mins to get the pizza. We parked near the window and as they were taking extra time they said they ll bring it to our car. We really appreciated it. Overall, we loved our pizza, fell in love and will definitely come back.
