My sister was recently diagnosed with celiac so finding restaurants we can go to has been a new challenge. So happy we found Toro because they have an 100% gluten free menu! Not to mention the food was so delicious! I could eat that street corn daily! The young woman who was working was so sweet and kind as well! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back - often!!
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had outside California. The “la gringa” taco was fantastic, chicken was super fresh, moist inside and crunchy outside. The “al pastor” was a little drier than I was hoping for. Two tacos was plenty for me - they’re generous. The space was spotless inside and outside, with abundant picnic table seating.The service was warm and efficient: two really friendly young ladies who were eager to tell me about the various items on the menu. If you want to save $ shopping at Whole Foods, stop in for a bite at Toro first to quench your appetite.
I ordered food here for the first time a few days ago. I had the Rice and Beans plus a Chicken Tinga taco. Even with an extra 12% "service fee" (which I can understand, as inflation is raging right now), the bill totaled a little over $10 with tax. Well worth it, since the portions were good-sized, and both were excellent - a cut above other Mexican food I have had. Friendly service. Highly recommend you try this place.

So flavorful and fresh!!! The strawberry coconut aqua fresca was so refreshing and the totopos nachos with chicken sooooo tasty ? definitely worth a try, you’ll be back!!!
2nd time ordering out from here. SO GOOD! The food is fresh, the tortillas are made in house. What a great addition to BlueBack. You can even order a carafe of margaritas to go! How can that get any better….?! They have specials many days of the week. Go try them. Next time, we plan on eating there, as they have several picnic tables outside in case you’re worried about dining in.
Just ordered the Machete Quesadilla with beef barbacoa and yes it was delicious! Love the ambiance and concept. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
Such a cool place! The staff are so friendly and inviting. They were so good to my kids and even reviewed the kids menu options with my picky 7 year old who decided on a crispy chicken taco. The guacamole was delish and the house margarita yummy!
Just finished devouring my first takeout order from Toro Loco Mexican Street Food... delicious. I had heard good things, so I ordered a variety of small bites and a couple of tacos. The street corn esquites, empanadas, and molotes were all fantastic... and the beef barbacoa taco was BOMB. So. Good. Margaritas were tasty, too. I was able to confirm at pickup that everything was totally gluten-free, and the staff were super-friendly. Can't wait to go back!
