Our first time going here was much better. They sat us in a very awkward 2 person half sized table right next to a full table with other people. We understand it was busy but it’s like they rather would seat us right away than give us actual good seating. The food the first time around was much better. This time both of the dishes we ordered were so so bland. It wasn’t even worth taking home any left overs (which there was a lot).
This was my first visit and I was not impressed at all. The visit started with a 50 minute wait to get seated. Then an additional to get our food once the order was placed. They served my girlfriend a plate of rice that was so hard I almost chipped a tooth. The adult beverages that were made for us did taste very good. The food itself was not so great and definitely over priced. I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.
Visit started with the hostess accommodating the family's need to have the baby stroller at the table when this isn't their policy. Pleasantly surprised by the way she handled it. As usual, the food was good. Couldn't finish my meal (omelet) and had no room for cheesecake. What stood out the most on this visit was our server. Gary (or possibly Greg) was amazing! Sorry I can't find my receipt to be 100%certain of his name (taller with a beard, brown hair) He was efficient, pleasant and went beyond expectations! This is the server you want working for you. Thank you!
Ive been on a number of occasions but we just went tonight and it was awful :( we were so disappointed in the service. My boyfriend got the pineapple chicken shrimp - it was SO dry. The chicken was extremely fishy. The rice was arid. He had literally one bite. The server didn’t come over to check on us and ask us how our food was. She ended up just bringing us boxes. Our food was basically completely full. I feel like she knew our food wasn’t good and didn’t want to ask!! I get it, I should’ve said something but in the moment we felt so uncomfortable. Do better Cheesecake Factory!!
Despite the “factory” in the name and despite it being a chain, they always seem to hit the mark even when it’s years between visits. Food is fresh, tasty and prepared well. Service is good and friendly (if maybe a tad too perky.)
Great place to have some good food! I really like they have such a huge variety of dishes and such nice ones. A big shout to the new low carb menu with many delicious and even fancy options. The place is usually crowded but we didn’t need to make any reservation. The service is also excellent, waiters are very polite and don’t mind spending time clarifying your questions. Price is fair specially because the plates are big.
My boyfriend and I love coming here, we love the food and it’s always delicious, but the waitstaff and seating arrangements are not the best. We have gone on MULTIPLE occasions and have not been given silverware, or napkins, or both. We’re given bread and butter but no knives to use with the butter, so we smear the bread on top of it. It’s humiliating. We’re not given the time of day to be able to ask the waiter for it because they don’t stop long enough. This has been almost every single visit. We waited to order our dinner for a half hour yesterday, our waiter was more than accommodating for the table RIGHT NEXT TO US, but barley came over to see us. It took about ten minutes just to order our drinks, then another 30 minutes to order our dinner. I always ask for extra extra sauce on the side, and I’ll even say A TON, then I get one cup and nothing in my sandwich. It’s so beyond frustrating because I’m not sure how to make it any more clear. I get it, it’s busy there, but it’s so frustrating that we leave so beyond unsatisfied with our service. The only reason we come back is because we’ve never had a bad meal, just awful waitstaff.
Located in West Hartfords beautiful Blue Back Square, The Cheesecake Factory is very well prepared and well presented American cuisine. Our server Meg was very attentive, kind and accommodating. The food is always good here and has a unique atmosphere. Definitely a good dinner spot in West Hartford.
The low-carb gluten-free cheesecake was really delicious better than I expected. And the steak soft tacos fabulous. Located close to the garage it's very convenient.
Dining in is fine here (what I would expect), but the online order/takeout experience could be a lot better. Picking up inside is very disorganized even on a random Wednesday which shouldn’t be as busy as weekends. After waiting and then getting my food, got home and found this to be the portion I got for a $21 meal! Yes, it slid a little during the ride home but it’s still maybe half of the container at most. There were a couple of things I asked not to be included because I don’t like them (mushrooms and tomatoes), but I assumed they would still make it close to a full portion size using the potatoes and asparagus. What was there was definitely good and cooked to the temp I asked for for the steak. It just wasn’t enough to be filling or worth the price. Additionally, the container for the steak medallions meal was very leaky and got all over the bag and other items. I would consider still dining here in person but will not be doing takeout again.
