If we had a dog, we would have fed their food to it. Stopped in last night and ordered Caesar salad with chicken, extra meatballs, and an antipasto salad. I was charged three dollars per meatball, that was filled with so much bread, even our daughter refused to eat it. Plus the bottoms on all three were burnt because even though I was the only patron in the place no one cared to look in the oven where they were trying to heat them. I noticed that the gray haired gentleman took a bowl out of the microwave, which apparently was the chicken for our Caesar salad. It’s sitting on the counter for a good five minutes, then the guy came by with no gloves on pick the pieces up and placed It on top of the salad. The chicken tasted like hard cardboard. What a shame that places like this remain in business, and people like us, who try to frequent smaller family owned restaurants have to be served food like that

The weird thing is, I don't disagree with some of the negatives on here (I'll specify which), but I still like this place. Greek style pizza is getting harder to find, but this place makes it and makes it well. We always order pizza and a Greek salad. The food is always ready when we get there. The pizza is always hot, and the salad comes loaded with feta and fresh vegetables. The biggest issue I've had is with pricing. My order is often two or three dollars more than I'm expecting. On the other hand, I once dropped a 5 in the tip jar and the guy working said "hold on" and took 5 off my total!! That tip didn't do much good...I get that for some people that kind of thing is a deal-breaker. Maybe better you read this than give it a super negative review. For me, the same old guy is always working, making me think it's a family business. It's got a nostalgic old vibe to the interior. And it makes the kind of pizza I grew up eating and don't find as much any more.On a Friday night when we're craving pizza and a bit of nostalgia it does the trick.

Food tasted fine - first time ordering here, meatlovers and wings. 3 stars for the following ;Ordered by phone and quoted 25 minutes but I arrived on time to pickup and the pizza wasn't made yet. Masks below noses, no gloves.Meatlovers on the menu listed toppings of ham, bacon, and pepperoni - toppings on the pizza provided was hamburg, pork sausage, and pepperoni.Wings on the menu listed as tossed in Buffalo sauce but condition of the provided wings was unsauced with sauce on the side.Maybe if you're regularly ordering knowing what to expect you would be fine as the food was cooked right, but the surprises were not what I wanted.

I love this place!

Best pizza on West Hartford

I placed an order online to be pick up and when i got my food my 2 pizza slices were warm and kinda old like gas station pizza. And i order a spinach calzone it was a pizza crust folded in half didnt even have the spinach. very disappointed.

Pizza was very good. The “Mack “.Pizza was awesome. Service was very good. The kitchen was very slow and the food fell short. Focus on the pizza and saladsYou need a new menu to go with your new look

Guy didn't wear gloves to make my sandwich as he touched bread after touching microwave buttons and a few other things. I should have walked out right then. Some other guy walks in the restaurant and heads through the kitchen talking with his mask on his chin as my sandwich is laying on the counter.. Not covid-friendly here at all. Bread had a mold spot on it, noticed after eating half the sandwich. Will definitely not visit here again. My fault for still paying for and eating sandwich.

Always one to look on the bright side, let’s review the positive aspects of our interaction with this establishment We ordered online, eager to try a new place. The menu options were decent, the prices extremely competitive and the ordering process easy. From order to food ready was a speedy 25 minutes. The chef salad, was top-heavy of meat and cheese, good for at least two or 2 1/2 servings The medium size pizza was supposed to be half sausage. Unfortunately we didn’t check it until we were all the way home, and we were slightly miffed to see that it was all sausage – – we were only charged for half however the young lady who wanted the cheese half was quite upset, after all it was her idea to call out for pizza to begin with. The individual actually sampling the pizza said it was OK. Not being able to partake of the sausage laden pie, the same young lady dove into the garlic bread--this too was significantly disappointing. She found it only mildly buttery, barely garlicky and overall lacking in taste. Never one to turn her nose up to garlic bread, she willingly walked away from this version. The chef salad, although sufficient in all the key ingredients, came with French dressing, not the Ranch which was ordered. This wasn’t a huge deal but as it came on the heels of an inaccurate pizza and a flavorless garlic bread, the negative impact had more punch. Sincerely hoping they were just having a bad night

Got a turkey sub..the guy making it wasn't wearing gloves.. threw my onions on the counter.. was using a dirty rag to wipe his hands. Answered the phone and used a pen to write an order down..then went on to make my sub.. grabbed my lettuce and the onions that he threw on the counter and threw it on my sub...with the same hands that answered the phone. Why did I just witness this without saying something . I feel grossed out .I got home and dumped out the lettuce and onion..paid $11 for turkey that isn't even deli meat
