I came in with my daughter for our first rolled ice cream and our experience was bad. The manager was behind the counter screaming at the employees for little things like not cutting the strawberries the way she wanted it even though I did not want my strawberries cut. She was yelling very loud and being unprofessional in all. I felt very bad for the employee. Also, the ice cream was bland and the tea had a dead bug in it. There was pee on the toilet seat in the bathroom and pee drops on the floor and no soap or tissue paper! This woman cant even keep her shop clean!
terrible service, ice cream is really good but it took me a 30 minute wait to decide to leave and try to come back the next day. super slow and just not good service. the people were doing all sorts of things the next time i came in and we were the only people in the store yet they didn’t take our order for about 10 minutes. the old 0 degrees was much better.
Service was super fast! Staff was also super friendly. Great ambiance and a total vibe
Worst experience. We have been going there for a while but never experienced this at all. The owner kept on complaining about the old staff how he was so unprofessional and she had to drive from Middletown to cover up for him. Didn’t wear gloves. Overcharged us for every single ice cream. She thoughtwe will not check the bill and honestly we didn’t. When we caught her, she said she will refund us. Made us wait for a while for the refunding us and then afterwards started talking loudly (read shouting). Most unprofessional service.
The place was ok…I was very disappointed to hear vulgar music and ice cream shops is frequently occupied by children. Also the main person making the ice cream had headphones in and we waited for over 15 minutes for even to take our order. Also it is so hot in there that the ice cream was melting.
Fantastic ice cream delights freshly prepared over a cold plate in order to roll them up, or there are recently rolled ice cream treats in a freezer ready for toppings for faster service. Be warned: the fresh ice cream prep takes a little time, but it is totally worth the wait. Blended flavors from their menu were great, and the bubble tea was prepared fresh and delicious. Decor was bright and sparkly, and the music was pumping. Friendly service!
probably not no. just entering the establishment their was paper towels all over the place and every surface was sticky, got up to the counter it was well over a half hour in line grabbing our purchase for one bowl I chose the fruity pebbles roll. the quality was very good of the ice cream. behind the line it looked clean but personally I think these young folks that work their need to try and fit some lobby maintenance here and their. I know it's rough sometimes. but those kids definitely were working their butts off every associate their was friendly too. but the entry was unesthetically pleasing.
My daughter has been wanting rolled ice cream since a local favorite in weha closed. She googled herself and found this place so we went today. First impression was oh the menu is pretty & good options so okay..... then I order my first option and the young lady who was alone in the store says she doesn't have the "base" for what I want and that her manager would be back with it soon ? which base is that HEAVY CREAM? But ok I order a second option "smores" for myself and one for my daughter. She charges me a little over $18 and I tip her a couple bucks assuming she's going to put in some work as the normal "rolled ice cream" employee does... She proceeds to pull them out of a freezer and ask my daughter if she wants toppings. So I realize she sold us ice cream that was PRE-ROLLED! I asked her was this how they do things because the point was to see the ice cream rolled and made in front of you. Again she references not having "the base" and waiting on her manager so she had some already made. At this point I was beyond frustrated because it literally defeats the purpose of going to a THAI ROLLED ICE CREAM spot. So I get in my car to eat the pre-rolled ice cream and there's no flavor but vanilla ice cream and hershey chocolate syrup. No pieces of graham cracker, nothing at all that resembled or tasted like marshmallow. Not to mention the rolls had obviously been pre-made and frozen days ago as they were icy, not creamy and tasted like freezer. I was so upset at this point I literally walked back in to verify that I recieved what I paid for. Sure enough, although I was the one eating it, she promised there were "smashed up graham crackers and marshmallows" in there and asked if I wanted a big marshmallow to go with it. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. THE PROBLEM WASNT THE YOUNG LADY. ITS THE MANAGEMENT. You cannot advertise a product to a consumer and then cheat your way at every corner. She was alone and most likely instructed to sell pre-made rolls. I could have eaten freezer burned vanilla ice cream with hershey syrup at home and saved my $20. It's deceptive. Wouldn't recommend!
My Bubble Tea was terrible I went back in for her to make it again and it was still bad I told her if I can just get a refund because I did not like it and wasn’t going to drink it she said No .There was no sweetness to it at all and no Taro taste. She was very SLOW and didn’t seem to know what she was doing . Even to cash me out took very long . I was the only costumer… I will not return.I love Taro Bubble Tea and that’s one of the basic normal flavors . (It wasn’t even the lavender color)It was a sad day for me . Just a waste
Amazing service and delicious food.
