I had ordered lunch at the Southington location. It was great tasty and the food was made quickly. We did take out. This is the Chicken Tahini rice bowl.

Rooftop Waterbury is the best place to have lunch on your laptop in Waterbury and Mr. Arrington is an old school proprietor that keeps the atmosphere charming and inviting.

A miss for me. Ordered online, taco salad and cheesesteak. The salad didn’t come in a fried taco shell (had baked tortilla underneath) no corn, guacamole instead of avocado, some kind of pickled vegetables, what appeared to be Parmesan cheese. The “Philly cheesesteak” was mixed in some sort of a chipotle like seasoned cream sauce. Both items the menu description was completely different than what showed up, I get what they were trying to do, put a unique spin on traditional dishes, but for me both were inedible. I would suggest accurate description of the meal.

Was excited to see it open Tuesday for lunch. Friendly staff - tried the Korean shrimp tacos andChicken soup specials of the day and it was amazing ! Spiced perfectly with fresh vegetables and greens. Tried a dessert lemon mochi which was amazing! Good selection of drinks including kombucha. The upstairs outdoor patio deck was a nice place to have lunch overlooking the green. Highly recommend !

The Food Was Superb and I don’t use that phrase loosely. I was happy to come here because the food made me feel at home.Great job and amazing staff.

Absolutely a delicious surprise. The food was unbelievably delicious. My daughter treated me to a birthday lunch. It was our first time there. I can say the food was fresh, great quality, great service & great atmosphere. We will definitely be back! I am so grateful for the chef/owner who took a chance on a dream of a place & menu that reaches every taste of adventure. Working at a tech high school where culinary is a huge class - you speak volumes of what someone can do with culinary passion! I would love you to come speak to our culinary kids to tell them there is no limit on what you can accomplish! You guys rock!

up with your thumbs at The Art of Yum!! Visited the Mattaruck Museum today and was very pleasantly surprised with the Cafe located there. The food was incredible, and on top of that, the service was unparalleled! Don't take my word for it, go check it out for yourself!

Let me tell you about TAOY. This gem is delicately placed in the budding town of Southington and they live up to the name. The decor feels like a cross between Basquiat meets Banksy, meets the cutest little coffee shop in the history of Brooklyn. Is your girlfriend obsessed with sushi, but it’s actually 9AM and you want breakfast and you need a solution? Boom. Sushirito. Try it. Bobby Flay tried to stand up to this masterful creation and was destroyed by the brilliance. I don’t even know what’s in it and I don’t ask. It’s literally 10/10.Is it 11AM and you can’t decide if you want breakfast or lunch and have commitment issues? The Art of Yum is your spot. You can get both. You’re probably an adult. Get eggs with your mac and cheese, nobody is judging you.2PM and you need something sweet paired with some caffeine to kill that brutal hangover? You better get there fast cause they close at 3 and nobody should be that guy that’s camping after they close. Get in, get your apples and French toast and get out. It’s still worth the trip. The bathroom door might not lock but it’s cool cause it’s clean in there and this isn’t Taco Bell. This stuff is wholesome and nutritious. The service is top notch. You can try to smell the fake flowers as the server walks to your table and ask if they grow the water in house and you’ll still be treated with a smile. They might even laugh at you, but they are so sweet that you’ll think they’re laughing with you.Seriously, if you like good food and cool art and a menu that’s so stacked you’ll have to order last at the table because you want everything, just do it. It’s worth it. It’s artistic… and yummy. I love it.

Excellent food served with style - Thanks Daniel!! Will definitely eat there again!! Blessings and Peace- Chessi and Pam

Great cozy spot, came as a recommendation. Grits were very cheesy and creamy how I like them. The servers were pleasant and attentive. Nice for all ages. Parking and seating is decent. I’ll be back
