Staff are so personable- I wasn't sure how to order good proportions for my Sy and the lady was really helpful with that. The atmosphere is easy and calm- didn't feel rushed to get out of there at all. Eggplant Parm was good/ satisfying but not as cooked as I'm used to getting there.
My closest Nardelli's is over on Plank Rd... but I've been to this one as well and it's always spot on. The owners of this franchise know what they are doing, and have the best grinders in the world.
I just realized that I have been going to Nardellis location on Watertown ave for years and have never written a review..No one beats them..I crave my sandwhich at least once a week. I order lunch from here a lot since I work nearby and I have not been disappointed once. The food has always been great and fresh. They are not skimpy at all. I usually get a wrap- my favorite has become the Chicken Salad Wrap, which I would def recommend!! I have tried some of their other chicken wraps and they are always fresh and they are very generous with the meat portions- it's not all lettuce, like some other places. ;- ) Def a great place to grab a tasty and filling lunch!
Ordered via grubhub not going to lie 2 whole grinder sandwiches a half of a meatball sub and a pack of cookies that were old came to almost 60 bucks including a tip for my delivery person. The grinders were well stuffed both an chicken parm & an italian combo came well thick in size. On the other hand my half of a meatball parm for my son wasn’t as stuffed as the others. There was indeed flavor but pricey for sure.
All Nardelli’s offer consistent food , a few stores seem freindlier and better run than this one but that’s a big deal because this one deserves a 4.2 good staff, good food. Sometimes some staff members not as awesome but never bad service and food always good.
I just stopped here after going to the Y and swimming for quite a while. As I was getting closer I realized I hadn’t eaten all day and I could feel my blood sugar starting to tank so these guys were the closest stop. The food was great but the thing that has made me now a loyal customer was that they could tell I was not doing great, they had me sit down and gave me something to hold me over until my order was done. That simple gesture might have taken an extra 30 seconds of their time but it made all the difference in the world! Heads up to all business owners, that’s the kind of behavior that will keep you in business and successful! Go support this place!
