I’ve heard great things about Los Garcia for years now, and am honestly disappointed in myself that I hadn’t been sooner. Finally an opportunity presented itself, and I can attest that it’s 100% worth the hype! The tacos were fantastic, and I always know a place is legit when they double shell the tacos. Everything was super flavorful, including the guacamole and even the chips, which had a nice seasoning on them. We ordered ahead and the food was ready when we arrived, which was perfect since it was peak lunchtime. We sat in their indoor seating area, and it was an efficient and very tasty lunch. I also ordered a tamale (not pictured) and it was soooo good, it almost gives my favorite place for a tamale a run for its money! I live close by and definitely plan on returning when I’m craving authentic Mexican food.
Food is delicious! By far the best Mexican food around. The problem is the service. They practically NEVER answer the phone. We would eat here probably once a week if it weren't so difficult and time consuming to get the food. We've never waited less than 45 mins to get food to go... Even if they aren't busy. They need to hire someone to answer the phone so orders can be placed for pick up.
The Al Pastor is very good if they prepare it in the big truck, straight off the doner spit. But if you call on the phone to preorder, they are preparing it in the small truck on a griddle instead of the doner and is dry and tasteless. So disappointed…
I had a great time I went out with my friends to this taco truck. And I was surprised to find that they had a separate building for dine in option?. The food I was also really good. I'll definitely go again!??

Just great food! I had their Huaraches and all the food our family had was just outstanding!And good their Picadas Veracruzanas and Tostadas.Excellent taste!

The meat was not hot for nachos. It was like eating old nachos. At one time I use to say that it’s had the best nachos but they have been falling off every since they have gotten so much business. How about we show them who is in control them customer! They have the worst customer service in Waterbury in the Mexican food business. I myself have sent them a lot of business n the past, but they don’t respect there customers . New food truck to go to is the one on east maybe n street across from Barnes and nobles plaza , they appreciate and respect your business. I will never return to that food truck. Because I think they got too bog for their britches, and now don’t respect the Pythagorean made them popular! I agree with the others a few years ago this place was spot on. Lately the food comes out " Fresh " and its cold. Meat no longer juicy or moist but i also agree with others that the employees no longer care. They no longer pick up their phone and when you get there you have to wait at least 20 minutes for cold food. I will try again in another year but they really need to step up their game. And i actually tried to talk to someone to bring up these concerns because i hate when people whine and complain but never brought up the issues, the employee i talked to me shut the window and turned away.
Probably the best food truck I’ve ever been to. They put a nice little twist on all of their dishes and that’s what separates them from the others. Nice array of sauces to go with your food. Staff are very friendly too.
