Prices have increased at least 25% plus prices used to include sales tax now added. We got specialty pizza. Large would be $32. We got half specialty 1/4 mushroom / tomato. 1/4 pepperoni / ricotta. Added $5 And paid $37 for a large pizza. Why add to a more expensive specialty pizza price ? Realize prices have gone up but this seems unreasonable
Very nice people the staff was friendly I haven't had the pizza myself but you can't really go wrong with pizza here in Connecticut most of it's pretty darn good especially in New Haven pizza capital of the world
First time dining here great service, great small family friendly dinning area, excellent pizza. Definitely going again.
We live in Stratford. My daughter had a Softball game up there. Heard good things about this place. So picked up a few pies.. Sorry to say, not good at all. Did not like. Was recommended by a close friend. Sorry to say never again. Not for us. Sauce tasted like Ragu. NO THANKS. 60$ WASTED.
A waste of $30 for a broc-rab pizza ( no sausage )...called toexpress my disappointment for a costly 1 item pizza...manager said the pizza is usually sausage w/ broc- rab so thats why the $30 charge $????
The pretzels were really good but the pizza... not so much. I thought it was overpriced.
My grandfather took my father to this pizza joint in the 50s when it was just a tiny little establishment in the rear of the lot where it is now located. My father took me there as well many many times in the 70s. I can still remember Dominic's set in the back of that lot by itself. Was not much of a dine in place but rather a take - out. This was my father's favorite pizza and my favorite too. Since then there has been changes in that lot. I remember the new building being built and all the other retail businesses going up. Dominic's also has other locations now. The name has change to Dominic's & Vinny's but it is still the same family and recipe. I also remember when Vinny was flying solo at the Meriden Rd. & Frost Rd. location. I have tried every pizza joint in Connecticut, including the famous joints in New Haven . There are a handful of good pizzas out there, but none quite like D&V. This pizza is perfection every single time. " The way it was meant to be" ! Thank you D&M for the many years of awesome pizza.
Best pizza there is... period. And being in a state that has hundreds of great pizza places that's saying something. I have ordered here nearly every Saturday for years and years and not one bad pie. Not one. Love this place!
Pizza was really good as for service , that wasn't so good -had a side cup of sauce when handed to me was all on outside of cup, got all over hands ,had 2 ask for napkins to clean...also I had 2 pizza's , took 2 trips to load car...in saying that, I have frequented 2 other local restaurants,, both helped me to car. THIS place good food ,service NOT so good.....
