Kudos to Fred the chief this afternoon. it had to be the best chicken milanese I ever had.. Also to our waitress for great service.
The best food and spacious place...JUST BEAUTIFUL! The owner and his family were so nice and very friendly. Prices are reasonable and they provide LARGE PORTIONS ??
Food was really good and portions were huge. Was there for a company dinner, not one of us could finish their entree! I also ordered a take out to bring home, and it was a whole tray. One meal that could easily fill three ppl! Desserts, can only speak about mine. Got the fried cheesecake. It tasted more like a canoli filling. Also big enough for two ppl, but not something I would recommend. Too heavy, too sweet, too filling. Four stars are for what I think was a slow service. Staff was great but we started with the appetizers and the main dish came a 1-1/2 hour later. Either way, I'd go there again!
This place is amazing! Great food, wonderful, attentive staff, and great drinks. Highly recommend especially for date night!
Seated quickly, waitress was nice but slow to take order. Had a long hair in salad at bottom of plate; only took 1/2 price off.
The place is AMAZING! Food was great, they give large portions. Staff was very friendly!
It was nice to sit with friends. Staff was friendly.
They are quick to take your order but slow to get it out to you. It was NOT that busy at all and I have been sitting here for 45 minutes. I had to refill my own water, we asked for bread and the waiter said he would bring it out but hasn't that was about 20 minutes ago. The sauce on the chicken parm was bland, otherwise it was pretty good. The chicken on the cranberry walnut salad was burnt otherwise it was ok. We ordered wine when we first sat down and it also didn't come until an hour later with dinner. I would not come back.
We had a birthday dinner for my sister. The salad was excellent. Then of course came the food. They served us pretty big portions but it was worth it. The chicken marsala I ordered was excellent. Would recommend this place for whatever occasion You can think of. Whether it's a birthday a date or any kind of event this is the place to go
I will not lie. Brass City Bistro was not my first choice for dinner last night. Not that I had heard anything negative about the place. It's just that I hadn't been there for dinner since it first opened about fifteen years earlier, and really haven't been in the area for dinner in as long. The one thing I can say is, I'm incredibly happy we ended up there! My wife and I were a bit nervous about getting a seat seeing as though it was Friday evening right at the dinner rush. Too add to my initial concerns, all they had were two seats at the bar. I usually don't like those accommodations for dinner, but that is where any and all doubts ended. We first were greeted by who I believe was the owner. She was gracious and pointed us toward the open seats. We were then re-greeted by the friendly bar staff and promptly served our drinks. The dinner specials were explained to us at which point we decided to order two of the options in addition to an appetizer.I won't go into detail about our individual selections. I will say we ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster, and the Cast Iron served Steak and Mushrooms caps with sliced potatoes. They, along with the Bruschetta appetizer were amazing!!!! I'm not one to talk of presentation (not qualified), but I will say the portions are enormous. I'm usually not a person to consider leftovers or a doggy bag as a plus. But in this instance, I was so happy to bring home the remaining Steak and accompaniments. Everything that was served was delicious!! The service, for a busy Friday night was great! And although I was not prepared for for such a fantastic experience, I was truly thankful for it!I highly reccomend you experience Brass City for yourselves.Cheers!
