This was the worst 20$ I’ve ever spent on food. How could this be a BBQ place and they don’t serve burnt ends or pork belly. Food was bland and over fried. Trash I’ll never eat at this place again. Waste of time and money. Girls who are working at the front desk is so lost as well.
VERY SMALL portions, extremely OVER PRICED, fried foods were fried in old burnt oil.Parking lot was only couple of cars now I know why.WILL NOT EAT HERE AGAIN,I RECOMMEND YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AS WELL
The food is great here. I haven't gotten anything BBQ wise that disappointed me. My new obsession is the Yellow bbq sauce with my pulled pork sandwich.
Must be new owners. They changed the baked beans recipe. Yuck. Go back to the original. St. Louis ribs are still the same and really good.
This place is BAD! STAY AWAY! When I watched these people put my brisket into I microwave I should've asked for a refund. I had one bite and I had to spit it out. It tasted old and rotten. The pulled pork sandwich was the same, disgusting. Looked literally like cat food. I'll never be back.. thanks for the response and admitting that you do put your food in a microwave. Employee of the month, chef microwave!
Love this place. Great food, nice people and good pricing and value and they are fast!
What a joke this place turned into!! Eugene would be turning in his grave ! They really can’t go down much more from there . A big stale bun w a little dried out over cooked burger. I told my granddaughter that I wouldn’t go to the “m” place but I would have been better off. Unbelievable!
Theyve been changing mainstays on their menu, they are not the same restaurant that I have been going to for over 10 years. Very sad because I have enjoyed franks for so long but even their meats are not juicy anymore. Dry and old meats, changed cheese cubes, oily fries. Incredibly disappointed in what they have become.**Response to their response**It seems they are completely void of professionalism as well. They state show me a normal person who brings a garbage bag in, YOURE CORRECT YOU IMBACIL! Thats why I was so shocked WHEN YOUR OWN EMPLOYEES TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN! I hope you have fun dealing with waterbury health department because in TELLING ME TO DO SO you violated at least half a dozen health codes and i recorded the entire incident and sent that to them. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD TELL A CUSTOMER TO BRING IN GARBAGE THROUGH A PLACE WHERE THEY ARE PREPARING AND SERVING FOOD! You guys are a disgrace to not only the food industry, but humanity. the baby back ribs and st. louis. were great i loved them i am from nyc and i came out there to dj birthday party it was a great weekend trip i definitely would make another trip just for the food!!!!!!
Always loved this place, so I went to buy a gift certificate as a Christmas gift and and realized they are cheating the tax system. When the gift certificate was rung up, tax was added. When I inquired as to why a gift certificate would be taxed, I was told "That's just the way it is here." The food the gift certificate would gave paid for would have also been taxed. I certainly don't think it is legal to double tax, and so I don't think I can ever go back sadly... Because who knows what other shady stuff they are doing.
