Always the best shakes, service is always so-so. Feel bad for the young lady that is ringing us up because she seems embarrassed by her co-worker walking around loudly doing facetime with his "dude yo dude" wearing sunglasses and she is trying to get things done. I never write negative reviews but in this case I felt I had to so you know that she is a great employee. It is Saturday the 16th at 1:08pm
Got inside store at 850. Allowed to get in line. Reached counter at 9 pm and was told they wouldn’t serve us, they were closed. Shouldn’t you be serving anyone you let in? Have employee police door and restrict entrance if you’re closed.
I've been coming to the Wallingford store for a little over a year now, and seem to have an issue almost every time I go. I order the same two smoothies every time, and somehow one of those smoothies will never come out correctly; either it's too icy and I have to wait for it to melt just so I can sip it with the straw or it's watery. Today, I gave my usual order: MangoFest and a strawberry Hulk with strawberry Gladiator protein instead of the Hulk weight blend (my husband likes this combo and I've never had an issue ordering it before) and the employee said that he'll just make a strawberry Gladiator smoothie instead. I asked why he couldn't make it the way I've always ordered it, and he couldn't give me a good reason. This was after the fact that I was told that I was required to wear a mask regardless if I was fully vaccinated. However, both employees up front had their masks pulled down so they weren't fully masked. They then allowed two male customers that came in after me to walk in without a mask and didn't bother to tell them to put a mask on. If you're going to require everyone to wear a mask, it should be every employee (it should cover their nose and mouth), and every customer, not whoever they decide should or should not have to wear one.
Came in to get a smoothie one day and a guy without a Smoothie King shirt dropped the almond butter on the floor and put it back into the refrigerator.. Also took very long to prepare my smoothie, he had to redo it about 3 times. Also even after the guy with no SK shirt made my smoothie it didnt give me the same taste as before... Would not recommend Wallingford Smoothie King.
No one seems to know the ingredients to any smoothie, you just get what hey feel like mixing for you. Not friendly.No gloves too!!!
Ordered 2 smoothies for online pickup. They claimed they never got an order, however I showed them my online confirmation and THEN they proceeded to make my smoothies. Not good service at all and very short with me even when they made the mistake. Someone needs to be checking the online orders and be more timely. 0/10 will NOT be coming back or recommending to anyone. Don’t waste your gas coming here.
I tried so many other places the smoothie but this is really bad.. full of ice, mangoes were really tasted bad and the smoothie is in solid form... I hate the test... I’m not gonna try again this place ever
Could use happier people but overall good
Great smoothies and they also have very large service sizes. A medium smoothie is almost the size of a large soda from McDonald's. They have good flavors to choose from as well as healthy options for people on a weight-loss diet or a strict workout diet. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a good smoothie
Smoothies are very inconsistent. Sometimes they are very good but other times they don’t have much flavor at all. The manager was rude to me and ignored me when I asked her a question. Place seems to be a little understaffed. The smoothie king in Branford is more consistent. I recommend going to that location.
