Meeeehh. Sichuan broth was hot. I like hot but that was extra :) it was fun with others total of 7. Sauce on the side. Medium size noodles/rice. No extra topings like at other hot pot's in CT. Would try again.
Awesome spot in Wallingford for authentic hot pot! Great prices for all you can eat. Make sure you get your sauces at the station toward the back. Boba tea and red bean balls were awesome too.
We were invited by family friend so we didn’t have any idea what the experience is about. Not an “eat & run” place. Your goal when coming here is to spend time & bond with family & friends coz you need a lot of time here if you choose the hot pot: from ordering food, boiling your broth, adding your meats & veggies then eating. It’s an experience. But, personally I want my food brought to me ready to eat. It’s my goal when eating out. I cook enough at home?and I’d like to relax when eating out. We were confused initially as to the process and prices but the staff is very helpful and patient. I’d say one hotpot is good for 2 people but if you’re really hungry then have your own. $25.99 per person/hotpot and $12.99 per person as an additional charge just to share someone’s hotpot and you can’t order your own. $12.99 just to share, I think is too much money and for this I gave 4⭐️. So, this is a one time experience for me. The food is delicious but too pricey.
Just left from there. Terrible! Had the szechaun broth and it was fire in a pot. Good thing i had this soy sauce like dipping sauce to combat the heat. I couldn't even enjoy.From the service to the food. I don't like that the kitchen chooses your vegetables as i don't eat everything and they don't think to ask. Dipping sauce very mediocre. Nothing to wow you for that price.It was our first time here and the waiter got annoyed because we didnt know how to fill out the menu....like dude this isn't typical so show me The ladies from across the table leep staring at us like weirdos. We couldn't close our curtain and they charged us for refills of our drinks. We won't be back.
Food was great, menu was put together well and even has a little "hotpot for beginners" guide if you've never had hotpot before. Staff was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant without being overdone.

Just ordered dim sum from hot pot - honestly the best dim sum outside of NYC and it rivals some of the good NYC spots. I was born in Taipei to expat parents and have had my share of dim sum - this stuff is the real deal and unbelievable to find it in Wallingford of all places. Hopefully hot pot has the dim sum carts on the weekend!
