Sat at bar so we didn't have to wait for seat. Steak my sister got and her whole meal was great. My meal was not as good as last time I got it this the 4 star review instead of 5. Got Mediterranean bowl which really tasted great a few weeks ago but was lacking in flavor and not as moist as last time. Rather disappointed cause I love 99 restaurant. I've never been disappointed this much since I first started going there years ago
Everything I have tried has been awesome. Restaurant is pretty big so there is never really a wait they get you in and out quickly. Food is very reasonably priced payed 54 doller for 3 people. My 6 year old loves cing to this restaurant.(I think it the popcorn)
Hard to find places like this. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great variety and most importantly, fantastic food! I haven't lived in this area for too long but long enough to know some of the local favorites. 99 definitely falls into that category. Usually I pick and buy what I'm familiar with, as to avoid disappointment due to myself being horribly picky. However, very rarely, I'll come across a restaurant that supercedes expectation. Which can lead me to feel that I'm in a comfortable enough position to open myself to a much broader selection, knowing there's small chance of being let down. I've been to this restaurant a couple times now and have tried various dishes and desserts and I can honestly say that I haven't come across any distasteful visits. It's a rather pleasant surprise for sure. At the moment my favorite is the steak tips. By far best steak I've had in the area, and I'm sure most will agree. 10/10
Ate there on St Paddy’s Day with hubby. He had the corned beef dinner and was very happy, I had a salad with chicken, also very good. Our server was very nice, friendly and attentive. We don’t go out to eat too much, well because *people* but this was a nice experience and would come back. One thing I would suggest, after wiping down a table, please dry it, not pleasant to have to dry it myself.
Visited in Wallingford in March 2022.This place is well lit and rather easy to find. Parking is appropriate and free.Ambiance is very casual. The menu has a variety of options. The staff is friendly and attentive.The drinks are ok, not great but acceptable.I ordered the turkey tips and chicken tenders. I noticed that they tend to over cook so when asked, if you like well done, say well, not charred.If you are looking for a very reasonable food and drinks, this is for you.Oh... by the way they have trivia and happy hour specials.Thanks... Surprisingly good menu for a chain restrurant! Haven't been to a 99 in years, but it's still great to know they still do the popcorn as a freebie!!
Very good. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. We were seated immediately. Food came out quickly. Best of all the food was very good!
Great service. Food was perfect as fast as chains go. Nothing to write home about. They have s cookie cutter and use it
The staff here is wonderful, friendly and helpful. I always enjoy coming here for a bite to eat and a beverage. The prices are fair and the food is very good as well. I would recommend establishment to anyone in the area looking for a spot for lunch or dinner!
Just so you know, 99 is no longer $9.99. It should be called 99+. Just like the Dollar Store. As was explained to us, because of "Covid", the prices have gone up. Still, overall, not terribly bad. But definitely higher prices on the entire menu. I have to say my Apple Chicken Cranberry Blue cheese salad with poppyseed dressing for $11.99 was delicious. The portion was full. My friends got balsamic chicken with 2 sides for around the same price was also delicious. All in all, very good!
