Came in with my kids this weekend. I believe our waitress was named Jessica. Very kind, got everything right, very sweet girl. liked the ice cream. The food was really good. I had the fishjig, it was cooked perfectly! My daughter had the mac and hotdog and got a cute headband! My son had a cheeseburger and the portion of fries was huge. Good food, came out hot and quick. Nice chowder too
I came in tonight with my kids… our waitress was Jessica. she was very kind and even gave us extra cherries on the side so the kids could have extra!Another thing I liked was how happy the employees seem. I liked seeing their smiles through their masks… makes it better for the customer to see how much the employees seem to love their job. Someplaces service sucks these days, I enjoyed seeing a change.
Visited Friendly's for lunch with my family - 4 adults and 4 small children. We were told it'd be about thirty minutes before we could be seated (it was busier than I expected) but the kids were occupied in the waiting area with some small toys we had with us and we were seated after a much shorter wait. Once seated, our server Katherine was on the ball. She was prompt and friendly, food came out quickly and when we added a sandwich onto our order to prevent a toddler meltdown, it came out of the kitchen in record time! Customer service is hard to come by these days but Katherine was great! The servers were hustling and I hope management recognizes that they keep the customers happy (and coming back)!
Ive been to this friendly's multiple times & so happy this is the one that stayed open! They are clean & friendly! This past visit everyone was so nice & accommodating! I went with a friend and we needed to use a laptop, our waitress Allyson moved us to a table so we could have the laptop plugged in! She was super nice & professional! Our food came out pretty quick & had no issues! Victoria was also very nice to us & we weren't even her table!
I came in this morning with my daughter and her friend! We came for breakfast… Jessica was our server. She was so sweet & really helped us out. We enjoyed how she made an effort to speak to us despite how busy she looked…. The breakfast was amazing…. totally going back. Thanks friendlys!!
Tonight was some of the best customer service Ive had in a restaurant in a long time!! We had Tory as our server tonight and she did everything in her power to make our dinner amazing...the orders were all correct and even when there was something she couldnt add onto my salad she made it happen! I also ordered a meal to go and she had it ready right along with my check when it was time for me to leave!! Becuase of her amazing service I will be sure to come back again sooner then later!! I went to friendlies in Vernon where I was greeted by Allyson who is an amazing worker. She had the best attitude and was very patient. She deserves a raise or better yet a promotion because that was some of the best service I have ever received throughout the entirety of my life. I never met her before, but she made me feel very welcomed. Businesses should aspire to hire more workers such like Allyson. Outstanding.
Been coming to Friendly’s in Vernon, CT since it was built. Brought my granddaughter and Mom for dinner last night and Allyson our waitress was awesome. Food was delish too. Love that they brought the original cheeseburger “old set up” back. Their hot fudge sundaes are my favorite as well as the original old fashioned ice cream soda. Henry the manager always asks us how everything was and he seems like a fun person to work for. Thank you Friendlys’s! We love you!! Amy S. and family
