Friendly staff and orders have been on time and accurate. Pizzas are ok not the best.
Was passing thru as was driving on I84 east heading back to NH for spring/summer and this place popped up on my search for good pizza. The staff is very friendly the owner came and talked to us a bit, taking time from his day, to talk about our motor coach ans he and his wife are thinking of traveling the west.The variety of Italian is better then most the service was good ...and with smiles...the food has excellent presentation and the roast beef sub that my husband got (only half) was the size of a full grinder!!! It is LOADED with roast beef as well. The basil and tomato pizza I got was delicious we shared FF that were cooked perfectly and a nice pour on wine!!Place is clean although did not check out restrooms but we shall return in September when we head south for winter. Excellent place!!!!

Stopped in on a Thurs night and the place was pretty much empty, waited at least 15 min before my order was taken. Ordered some wings, garlic bread with cheese and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza and bread were ok, but the wings were very undercooked, not bleeding but the drumettes were pink, chewy and slimy inside, these wings were definitely not fried, not sure if they shut off their fryers for the night and decided to maybe bake them, but they were not good at all. I told the waitress they were undercooked and sorry that I had spit it back out on the plate, she apologized and said she would let them know. Well no one even acknowledged my complaint, I definitely will never return.
We moved away three years ago and have missed their pizza terribly. While we were here visiting for the Christmas holiday we stopped in for dinner. Even to know they are short staffed they still are taking care of us the customers. keep up the great job!
I lived in Vernon for 25 years and I have to say normally I only write bad reviews .. But today I have decided to write a good review because of the impeccable service I received from Dave and his employees . I have tried everything in there at one point or another and not once did I ever complain .Alway had great service and great food .. But just like any other business there will be a mistake made at some point , especially being in business as long Dave has been there . So I called Dave and I asked him about my order and he even remembered the order .. He knew why and how the mistake was made.. unfortunately it was a staff member that made the mistake and I understood especially in today’s times trying to find good help to keep the business running .. He was apologetic and wanted to give me a free meal and I told him no that was not necessary . Here it is Christmas Eve and I was doing some last-minute shopping and I wanna grab my favorite meal . apparently Dave remembered my voice over the phone and he gave me a meal for free that was more then the meal that was made wrong .. I thought I could fool him going in there with my cash in hand ready to pay and he remembered the conversation and gave me the meal and said merry Christmas !!! Well Dave merry Christmas to you and your family as well thanks for being there for your community great job Dave !!
Military/First Responder discount;Was told I need to pay cash in order to get military discount because it save on credit card fees. Why not call it a cash discount and provide it to all customers if that's the reason behind it. Website should either clearly explain this or else it's bad business practice in my opinion. Will gladly take this down once website is updated to explain the cash only part.
Dave gets your order done right and the food is absolutely delicious been coming here for over 25 years and have never ever been disappointed . The staff is always courteous and friendly .

Grew up on the pizza here since the early 80s. Haven't been in CT for 10 plus years and stopped by again tonight. It's as awesome as ever. Never change that sauce.
