Really hate to leave a bad review but I have had enough.Since the pandemic began service has been getting consistently slower. Taking in account staff shortages and increased take out demand I have been very patient thus far. Usually takes about 25-30 minutes on average. However, after ending a 60 hour week and finding my house without food... I figured I would stop here for a quick bite. There were only about 6 cars ahead of me so I figured it wouldn't be too bad.I was wrong.I was also now trapped in the drive through with no way to get out. After timing start to finish I was waiting for 1 hour and 10 minutes for 3 items totaling $16.29.1 hour and 10 minutes after pulling in I had my order. No apology, no "thanks for waiting" absolutely NOTHING.No sauce and no napkins either. On top of that the portions were smaller and prices higher. If you are going to have wait times that long at least put a sign communicating that, or change the drive through to allow exit.I will not be coming back to this location and will be reaching out to corporate for a refund.
One thing I hate about this location is once you're in the drive thru you are stuck. Like tonight, I got in line around 615p. Didn't pay for my food until 45 MINUTES later. I would've left if there was any room to escape. When I got to the window I was hopeful. Nope. I paid and wait another 10 to 15 minutes for my food. I could've gone to a sit down. I wouldn't be so harsh but this isn't the first let down at this location. They're notoriously slow and always get your order wrong. Never again.
If there was an option for zero stars that would better suit. This was the absolute worst experience at any taco bell I have ever been to. I waited 35 minutes inside for my order only to watch the 1 person assigned to in store orders grab a cigarette and go on a smoke break with 5-6 other customers also waiting when I asked for my refund the manager who was in the back the whole time came out and gave me a hard time saying 35 minutes is nothing we have people who've been waiting longer....she was extremely rude and I strongly urge everyone thinking about ordering there to save yourself the torture of having to deal with the horrendous service and lack of customer service. I will never give this place my hard earned money
This taco bell has the slowest service of any taco bell I have been to. This was the last time I ever try this location again. We waited 30 minutes for our food with no end in site. There was one other couple who also waited for their food for 35 minutes. It wasn't like the lobby was full of people. When we went to cancel our order to go somewhere else, we were on the second page of orders that were from door dash so who knows how much longer we would have been waiting. They were very kind and refunded out whole order even though we had been drinking our sodas. One other time I waited for an hour in the drive thru line at this Taco Bell. Now I love me some nacho fries but the wait times are just not worth it. I will save my cravings and visit the Bristol location.
Waited in the drive thru for 1 hour and 20 minutes to get 3 individual items. This is not fast food and these lengthy waits have become common place over the last year or so. Everything is blamed on COVID, but I say really POOR management. The food is not bad but doesn’t deserve over an hours wait. I’ve had much shorter waits at 5 Star restaurants. Taco Bell regional management needs to pay attention to this and take action . Went again on 5/9/22, used drive thru, it took over 1 hr to get my order which didn’t have any hot sauce. Pointed this out to person at the window, she took back the bag and said she put hot sauce in. I drove off assuming no one would be so careless to not include hot sauce but when I got home there wasn’t any hot sauce. This is the second time it took over an hour to get my order wrong ! Manager is incompetent and obviously doesn’t care to get his/her employees properly trained and doesn’t care about the customers to at least check orders. Never going back!!!!!!!!!
Corporate needs to close this one down completely. I waited 20 minutes for food i had already paid for and then walked out because the staff are so rude and then they are making it difficult to get a refund. The canton one got a visit from me a couple days ago and they were quick and had no issues with them. I now avoid the Torrington one and go to Canton taco bell when i am in that area
I waited in line for an hour and 50 minutes, I didn’t get no apology until I mentioned that they forgot my cinnamon twists and burritos, I would have given this chain restaurant location a zero star because the drive through wait time is really ridiculous like I’m surprised this Taco Bell location is still surviving, Hey Taco Bell wake up and hire more people your customer service sucks. This is why I don’t like going to Taco Bell anymore, I’m ready to fall asleep in the drive thru because it’s that bad.
This is the ONLY Taco Bell in a fairly large area (Waterbury, Thomaston, Bristol and Torrington) that is actually open and fully operational after midnight. Every single other location I've gone to, they close everything down early so they can leave at exactly 1pm. This location has nothing of limits as far as food goes, despite getting there at exactly 12:30AM. We ordered a lot of good simply because we hadn't eaten since significantly earlier that day... Oh and because we could! The staff was super friendly! I honestly was shocked at how nice the young ladies working were, despite it being close to time for them to leave they didn't give us a hard time about what we ordered or anything else. From now on, I intend to utilize only THIS specific Taco Bell.
By far the most authentic Mexican cuisine experience of my entire life. The 5 layer burrito of to die for. The Cinnabon bites? I mean come on!?!?! That was like walking down the street in a Oaxaca barrio. Just like your abuela used to make.
Waited over 20 mins for a 2 taco order. They need to have some one make the schedule better to have coverage during dinner hours.
