Sasso's is located right in downtown Torrington easy to get to and with its rustic roomy dining area inside and comfortable outside dining area its a nice place, I believe they have live music sometimes.Parking is limited as its right on main st there's a lot up the street near city hall and the shopping plaza as well as parking behind the Warner theater.Prices reasonable and service quick.We ordered take ot and it was ready in 20minDefinitely recommend ?

Love to compliment vs complain, who wants a bad experience right? So as much as I love their pizza this one was hard to write. Love the pizza, can’t deny that however, management needs serious retraining. Went with another couple before a show at the Warner, good time to schedule xtra staff, and it took 40 minutes for our drinks and 50 minutes for the other couples, and that was after asking 3 times. Didn’t even get 4 waters until after the pizza arrived and we didn’t ask for them. Oddly enough staff approached us twice with the wrong food and 3 times with another tables drinks? Never saw our waitress again after initial order? I asked for a manager and moments later I was told he’s busy cooking? Yet he took drinks to a larger party next to us multiple times? Excellent food! Horrible management! Staff is only as good as the management, they get a pass. Sorry 2 stars but fair is fair. Takeout only here forward.
Disappointing. We had the margarita pizza. It was so burnt that I could not enjoy my favorite part- the crust. The tomatoes were fresh and sweet, but there was not enough garlic, salt, or fresh basil. I am willing to come back and try the burgers, but I am all set with the pizza. I also don’t understand the fake flowers dangling from the ceiling.
The Restaurant was Great!. Not from that area, but wished we had arrived sooner for the Trivia. Though were still able to participate. Next time we will go earlier. We did not know that Coal Fired Pizza was even an option. The meal was great! The staff was awsome, very polite and friendly. Thank you all. We will definitely return on our next trip to Torrington.
first time ordered eggplant was delicious second time eggplant was hard as a rock in middle ordered meatball grinder bread was burnt was wrapped in foil and bread was soft like a soggy sponge had to throw away.

I normally go here for their pizza which is delicious, but decided to try brunch. I was not disappointed. Everything was great!
We had a special table reserved just for my fiance and I, and our two friends. The atmosphere here was amazing, classy, rustic. The staff was attentive. This place specializes in brick oven pizza, and it's the best pizza I have had in a long time. We got the lemon Barratta pizza, meat pizza, and one other. For an appetizer we got the baked goat cheese. All I have to say is YUM. Owen and Mike were the cooks that night and they nailed it. We even got a special dessert sent to our table by the kitchen staff. I will come back here 100 times over and encourage others to as well!
