Always a fan of Anthony's until today.....I called in an order for pick up and couldn't remember the exact name of the dish but I described it as a fish dish I've ordered there several times. The woman who spoke with me said the name of it and I recognized the name and agreed. She did repeat back my order and again I agreed. I got home to find out it was chicken and not fish, called and was told that the Francese only comes in chicken so I then read the description of Sole Francese from Anthony's menu and got put on hold only to have her come back on and say well you said yes when I repeated your order so....Ok then I won't be back....she said thank you and hung up. Wow super disappointed $25 plate of food in the garbage and a lost customer.
Obsessed with their fried dough bites. Obsessed. Great pizza but definitely worth exploring the other options on their menu.. We've had delivery done 4 times now in the past month and they are so quick and polite every time. Our old go to pizza place in town has been officially replaced by Anthony's!

Very vague menu, descriptions of foods leave out a good bit of detail when you order, delivery time is subpar at best, for the price this place isnt worth it youd be better off ordering franks romas vinnys or even north end two guys, prices of those places are similar cheaper or worth the extra money 10/10 wouldn't recommend this place even to feed a dog
For all you vampire slaying, garlic lovers out there, you have to try Anthony’s Restaurant in Torrington. Everything we have had so far is delicious but the garlic knots… Mama Mia, deliziosa! It comes with their marinara sauce, which makes me want to cry like I did when I got the Barbie Dream House. Felice Felice!!! When I was younger I would go to a restaurant in Greenwich with my father named Manero’s. We went so much he had his own table with a name plaque behind his chair. They made the best garlic bread, it was famous, along with their Gorgonzola salad. These knots have the exact flavor. It’s something I could never Forgedaboud? Salad snobs like me, yes I eat a lot of salad, the chopped salad, Buono , buono! I eat Anthony's pretty regularly and it's always great. But tonight, I ordered and received the best pizza i've ever had. I didn't know an already incredible pizza could be even better. Way to go Anthony's!
I first went to Anthony’s at 4:55pm today for a small pizza that was the best I’ve had in a long time then after a meeting I came back to take home 2 grinders, 1 Chicken Parmesan and 1 Steak and Cheese & Both grinders were truly out of this world. I can’t say enough because words don’t actually describe how delicious it really was, All I can say is I found a great spot for delicious food and no matter where I know where I’ll be coming a lot in the future. The staff is extremely friendly, The atmosphere is very cozy and warm especially on a very cold and rainy winter day. So if you want the best food at atmosphere you could ask for you definitely want to come here, I will definitely be doing a lot of that in the future and it’s thanks to a great staff and gra food for this little hole in the wall restaurant. They also have free parking on property and I love that they put a handicap space very accessible to the front door.
Food has gone downhill in the last few months. Threw my takeout away as the fried chicken was dry, tasteless and so hard I couldn’t even chew it. No thanks.
