We recommend the Sunday brunch. We went today for the first time and boy what a beautiful spread.. it was absolutely delicious!! Everyone was so nice and friendly. Thank you to our server Jamie Iodice for being such a sweetheart ?. We’ll definitely be back!! ♥️
Nikkis always has good food, drinks, and entertainment.
We were excited to try Nikki's out and showed up around 7:45pm on a Saturday. The vibe seemed great with a band playing, and there were open tables outside so didn't look that busy. We waited a bit at the blue stand at the entry of the outdoor area and made eye contact with a few servers.. nobody came to seat us. I popped into a door nearby where a woman behind a bakery counter said we were in the right spot to be seated so we kept waiting. Eventually, after no acknowledgement from staff, we went inside to the bar and asked to be seated. The bartender asked us to wait in the corner for her manager to come help. That seemed a little weird but we waited a bit and still nothing... after 20 minutes of no acknowledgment or communication, we walked out and found another local establishment to have dinner at. Not sure if it's a staffing issue but I've never had this problem at a restaurant before....Editing to add response to owner: the issue was that there was no acknowledgement or communication. if there was going to be a wait for a table that is fine but we were never told that. even if we had to be turned away, that communication should have happened long before waiting 20 minutes. nobody helped us until we went inside and asked the bartender for help and by that point we had already been waiting for at least 15 minutes by the hostess stand outside with multiple staff members seeing us and ignoring us. we were the only ones waiting. from your response below it seems like this shouldn't have happened as you were adequately staffed. also- thank you for the phone number, but we had tried calling earlier that day and were met with a dial-tone. your response seems really defensive and while I may have been inclined to try again given a more empathetic/apologetic response, I will be staying away...
Extremely disappointed, I went to eat and ordered the chicken and broccoli pasta with vodka sauce and it was bland , The food tasted like watery noodles and salt . I asked them to add more garlic or any seasoning and when the food came back out it was still the same . I don’t like to complain so I just wrapped it up hoping my boyfriend would eat it and sadly he didn’t even eat it he said it has no taste just salty . If I’m going to pay for something I would atleast like it to be enjoyable,Not I mention I got charged for 4 drinks when it was only me and one other person . Will not be going back this place is a scam .
Sand in the linguine and clams. Manager rude would not offer something else. Not even an apology. Charged me for the dinner i didn't eat. Still tasting the sand this evening. Hope I don't get really sick. Manager told me sand in the clams because they are fresh. I didnt eat all the clams. There were 6 clams in the shells. I took the clams out of the shells and put them in the pasta. All sand. My boyfriend was too polite to complain his chicken piccata was burnt and dry. We ordered a 32 dollar bottle of wine and tipped the waitress generously. Won't be going back sometime soon.
My favorite dish is the cavatelli with chicken, broccoli, garlic & oil, cooked with white wine. Delicious!!! It's a small place with a pleasant atmosphere.
Ordered food to go to take back to our hotel. The service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the grilled fish sandwich and the shrimp po boy. Both were hot and fresh. The steak fries were fine-nothing special. I should have upgraded to something else.
