Worst service ever This is the second time this happened
I REALLY wanted to like this place; the drinks were good and our waitress was amazing, but unfortunately the kitchen must have been behind tonight. First of all, we ordered our appetizer 20 minutes before our meals, yet our meals came out BEFORE the appetizer. The meals were cold and the appetizer was hot (even though that was the last thing we were served). This already upset us, but we had gotten a large, strong drink for a decent price, so we looked past it (Memorial Day weekend, live music, maybe the kitchen was swamped). Then, my boyfriend bit into his cold cornbread and found MOLD. This was enough to turn both of us off for the rest of our meal. I took a few bites of my burger, but unfortunately I just couldn’t stomach it after biting into my boyfriend’s moldy cornbread. As if that wasn’t enough, some of our food never even came out of the kitchen and we had to just ask for it to go. It’s very upsetting, as Dominique was an amazing waitress, but the food being served (at least the food that was served) was moldy and that was just inexcusable for us. His meal was comped, but we still paid $80 + tip for a barely palatable, cold meal. We ended up paying and leaving to go to Whiskey Barrel down the street since our meal was ruined.
Came here for our Dog's 12th Birthday because we saw it was Pet Friendly on the app 'Bring Fido'It was so nice to actually have dinner with our pup, the view was incredible, and the food was delicious! We had steak tacos, Wings & Fries, Crispy chicken sandwich (On a gluten free bun too!!!) and sweet potato fries, and frozen cocktails, it was all delicious. Our Birthday Pup munched on the celery sticks from our wing plate lol and some other snacks until we were all done with our meal and our waitress brought us out some whipped cream for his birthday cake treats! Such a special birthday celebration. So glad we came here!
Good food, reasonable prices, honestly a nice laid back seafood spot on the water. Hearing the Metro North train pass by is also pretty cool.
Really enjoyed my experience here. The atmosphere was pretty cool, I liked how there were areas that were more open, while others were cozy. Didn't get a chance to check out the outside area much because the weather was bad but it looked really nice. The food and drinks were pretty good, and reasonably priced. I had gone at a time when there was live music too, and the band was pretty great! Looking forward to my next time here.
Yesterday my husband and I visited Joey C’s for our first time and had a great experience! The food was delicious, the drinks were great and we loved the service. The vibe was rustic and the restaurant was also super clean. Nick is a great manager, Adam a phenomenal chef and Carey such an amazing and sweet bartender. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a go-to place to grab a bite and have great conversations. Make sure to purchase Joey’s custom seasoning used on his fries which is so delicious and the custom made cilantro dip! My husband and I are definitely looking forward to returning here!
We went there for open night.Ordered and received. A special gluten/ dairy free meal. The owner cooked it for meA treat. That s very rare. He cared. Enough to ask what I needed. Great service...thank u so much
Went for my birthday..was a party of 14 people. Food was good, however one persons appetizer did not come until others were being served entrees. Some meals just didn't come as described but we made the best of it.. and some were satisfied with their meals(but those were young guys.. 13, 14, 16yr Olds ?) They'll be happy with just about anything edible. ? They sat us in back room.. freezing ☃️! I have been to this establishments at least 10 times and was always happy. Maybe just an off night! Will try again and see if the next time will be more positive. I would still recommend..
