Great ice cream!great prices. Great flavors . I can see why this little spot has been here a long time
Owner/staff was not very welcoming. Two scoops were the smallest two scoops you could imagine. Better off going to the supermarket and buying a half gallon of ice cream for the price of Goody Basset's two scoops cup. If you want to get the most for your money, you're better off going to dairy queen or carvel.
This gem of an ice cream shoppe really deserves more recognition. It's styled to resembled an old-fashioned ice cream shoppe, and their ice creams are rich and creamy. While they don't have a humongous variety of flavors, they do offer the standard variety (vanilla, rocky road, etc.), plus a changing variety of interesting flavors. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
Homemade cannoli ice cream was delicious, But the chocolate could have been more chocolatey.
We bring the family here all the time, ever since we moved to Stratford. I recommend getting the White Russian ice cream in a shake. Go across the street to the liquor store to grab a nip of Vodka if it's cold outside. If you drop that in, it will warm you right up :) Don't go too late if you want to ensure you're able to get your favorites.
Ice cream was freezer burned tasting. Employee wasnice though.
