Coming from nyc, looked everywhere for a good coffee shop(not dunkin or Starbucks). Great coffee and pastries. Also interior decor and big window is a huge plus! Will be back!!
Love coming for their breakfast sandwiches and iced coffees! This spot is a staple in my weekend plans. Staff is friendly and service is pretty fast. It does get pretty busy but it's always worth the extra few minutes. Super convenient location in downtown and there is indoor and outdoor dining.
Very cute spacious coffee shop. I ordered an iced macchiato special flavor which was fun and good, didn’t order food. It was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area with plenty of greenery which is surprisingly nice considering it is on a main road. There is free wireless, they take Apple Pay, and the outdoor area is dog friendly.
“We don’t scramble eggs we only fry them”Leaves me with the impression that the eggs are precooked and/or frozen as mentioned in a previous review. I hear good things about the staff & atmosphere which is great but that doesn’t do much for my appetite =(
Beautiful, bright, airy coffee shop in downtown Stamford, Connecticut. Serving up a wide assortment of caffeinated drinks, pastries, and other things to eat. Plenty of comfortable seating and friendly service, plus art and books to complete the decor. Highly recommend the iced whipped coffee, a truly delightful beverage experience. I would certainly pay this coffee shop a visit if you find yourself in Stamford!
Winfield hosted and catered us in their shop for a non-profit special event with 50+ people after store hours. Everyone on staff was warm, helpful, and friendly to make it a special experience. The atmosphere and space felt great! The food and drinks were fresh, high-quality, and flavorful. I highly recommend their catering packages - there's a wide range of choices at affordable prices for groups and events.
Pleasant space. Unfortunately was only able to spend 15 minutes here as it was closing shortly after my arrival. Staff were cordial and the ice coffee was tasty.
Excellent coffee, great space with nice decor. Staff is very friendly - Kelsey was especially kind and made a delicious latte! Looking forward to trying more menu items.
Great food and coffee! A little pricey but worth it for the atmosphere and friendly staff. Great place to get some work done, they've done really well making it a unique and interesting place to grab a coffee! Large outdoor seating area, and they have a door that connect directly to the library.
I’ve been going to Winfield since they opened and normally have a good experience. The last time we went (Sunday 12/5) , the plan was to take a picture by their tree and get a coffee after, we had a small brown bag with us from where we just ate, it had 1 cookie in it. Almost immediately after opening the door to come inside, one staff member, short with very short hair, comes up to us and tells us theres absolutely no outside food or beverages allowed inside. I told him we aren’t planning to eat the cookie here. We just want to take a picture, grab a coffee, and leave. He goes back to the counter, we begin putting our belongings down, and he immediately comes back over to us again to tel us the same thing and that we cannot be here.I’ve been a loyal customer here, respectful, and even recommended Winfield to many downtown residents.Since then, I have heard two complaints from two different customers about this employee regarding different issues, and it’s disappointing to hear.Not planning on coming back in until this place picks up its service.
