We walked in on a quiet Sunday night. The staff could not have been more welcoming. We had a great time. FYI, their wings are amazing. Stayed at a hotel a block away. We had a ton of fun here and the pub food was all excellent.
It's a good place for a night out. Hopefully you get to catch a band, but it is quite busy, the bar will stay messy and dirty through the night. The bartenders over pour and over charge
Fun place to hang out at, BUT I am a little disappointed at the fact that the service at the bar could be a little better. I understand that talking to people is a part of the business as well, but serving people always comes first. Long conversations should and can wait.
My first time at this establishment. Their menu is limited and I expected more entrees but what they had was tasty. I'm giving the burger I got 4 stars because it was oily and soaked the bread.
Great location on Main st. Beer was chilled nice and crisp. Good service. Food could be better. Had fish n chips and chicken sandwich. Nice evening to sit outside.

Good Irish pub, lots of space, plenty of alcohol to drink. Plenty of darts, loud music playing. Plenty of TV screens to watch sports, news and anything. Bar is nice and big for Plenty of people. Food good, prices not too expensive. Service good, but slow.
Cool, quiet, great friendly bartenders.

If you like Downtown Stamford (and who doesn't? ) Tiernan's in the heart of it. Big, friendly corner place with good service and great bar food. (Freddy the cook has been there forever and he takes pride in his work.) Irish sports bar, large screen TVs everywhere, but those there for the sports are nice, not annoying.
