Dirty room, the hotel didn’t offer to change my room clean it. Broken headboard, dirty bedsheet, no towel, dirty tub, broken items in the bathroom, Broken shower curtain - looked like a homeless shelter
Clean and tidy. Very old fashion though with old furniture. Room was a "deluxe" but it was just a normal size room with a bigger bed. Too expensive for what you get, which is basically a night sleep with no breakfast included.
Currently staying at this hotel and I would say that I am shocked at the current appearance of our room. The headboard of the room is peeling, the lamp is not in good shape, the bathroom curtain has a hole in it and the bathroom floor was dirty together with the counter and I had to clean it before use. I called the front desk about how dirty it was and no one came to clean it so that’s why I cleaned it myself. I was not even offered to change rooms or anything- not even an apology! When we entered there were no towels in the room either too at all or toiletries. The bed sheet was not cleaned on the outside and one of the beds didn’t look made. I also told the front desk and they said nothing. I would have thought there would be better inspection of your rooms before having a guest enter it. I also asked for a blanket because there was none in the room and hours past and none has been brought up. It’s seems there’s no staff. Do not spend your money on booking a room at this place unless you want to waste your money on a dirty room that is falling apart!
I was at the Stamford Hotel for a HS Reunion. All the events were held at the hotel. Great experience from housekeeping to the breakfast area, bar & the front desk. All were very accomodating to all of us.
One of the worst hotels I ever stayed, Room was not good, even asked for housekeeping and still not provided. Coffee machine was not cleaned, no shampoo or soap! Overall I will not be staying at the hotel
After having our 40th high school reunion at this venue I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was was. Melissa, our host took the best care of us and made sure we had a memorable experience! Staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended
If your looking for a venue this is definitely a place to check out. They will work within your budget. They throw a fabulous party. From check in to check out nothing but excellent service .We will definitely book them again for our next party.
The Stamford Hotel has it all! We were there for a large event and the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff helped make a wonderful weekend. The rooms were clean and comfortable, amenities include an indoor pool and 24 hour sundry shop, great in-Stamford location, and really delicious pizza. If you are looking to host an event in Stamford, a wedding, business conference, or special event, the location and staff are well worth a look! Highly recommend. Will stay again.
Everything was excellent. Needed additional plug in locations for power and USB. The location is great and rooms were very clean. Staff was attentive and friendly. Parking is excellent. Would definitely return.
Upon checking in the front desk staff were amazing, vibrant, full of energy and helpful. We ordered some food from the bar before going to our room thinking it wouldn't be too long, maybe 20 to 30 minutes. Ended up waiting 45 minutes for a pizza and tacos. Eventually got to the room and the TV didn't have any sound. Ended up fixing it myself after calling guest services and being on hold for a while.When opening up the bed, the sheets were filthy and the bed and pillows were full of hair. Clearly wasn't changed after the last guests had been there. The front desk attendant (not the ones from check in) tried looking for a new room but apparently couldn't find anything available. I was told they would change the sheets and I requested that the entire bed be redone. I was then offered a breakfast voucher but that too was unavailable. Ended up not wasting time going down for breakfast.
