I got their espresso beans which I loved, they were really fresh. However, it’s not the schist espresso blend, although I am happy with the beans I got, want to try the schist espresso blend too. Also got the decaf beans, specifically for making espresso, again they didn’t have the espresso decaf beans, but the roast level is same, the resulting espresso didn’t taste as good as the one with regular beans but I think decaf in general doesn’t taste as good as regular(not very sure, new to making espresso and decaf especially).When I called customer service, they noted down by question about availability of espresso blends, I got a reply from the owner of the business. He was super nice and answered all my questions. Espresso blends were apparently out of stock due to high demand. Hopefully I will be able to try them soon.If you are in Stamford area and in constant look out for fresh coffee beans, should definitely try this place.
** My comments are very specific to experience with espresso beans and not with overall place or quality **Bought whole espresso beans 02/27. Beans just came in ( there was no roast by date only Best Buy date ) according to person at the cashier.Beans were roasted extremely dark. Espresso was very acidic. Tried to return the beans but they wouldn’t refund. Left the beans at the counter ( no arguments ) if someone wants to quality check. Hope the share goes to the farmers ( fair trade ) and I will think it’s charity .Personally, Just a bad after taste for me .

Fantastically bold coffee with a great selection of flavorings and milk for different pallettes. Friendly employees and a great setting in the park next to the fountain really make this a pleasant destination for any fan of coffee.
Proof never disappoints!! From the service to the coffee and food, everything is outstanding always. And don't sleep on the breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast!
I used to go back and forth between the Patisserie and Corbos for coffee... until Proof moved in. The best thing that could have happened in this area in regards to coffee.The staff are friendly and happily explain the type and origin of the bean currently roasted. In addition to great coffee, they have amazing monkey bread and bagels from Eric’s bagels in Stamford.All they need is an awards program or buy 10 get 1 free card, but I’m there most days a week regardless. ??♂️
